An Idea for the Upcoming Wedding...

Since so many people are interested and excited about the upcoming joining of Xander and Angelique, I had a thought...


Is there anyone out there techno-gifted enough to set up a live webcast of the ceremony? That way, all the people who would love to be there but can't make it can still join in the celebration.

Just a thought... any comments?

There was talk of (and I don't want to commit Lasher to it but) he did mention that a web cam would be nice.
Also a thought was to take still pics. and post them on the web for all that can't be at it to see.

Ok is anyone coming to this have or know what to do with a web cam?
I have an older ibm thinkpad I use at work and a friend will let me have his cam but I don't have a clue at all what I would be doing.(I mean I'm so clueless about computers)
I'd love to see someone else try this one, but I'll get whatever someone needs.

I do know this however, the Groom in question has a webcam. Maybe if someone got there a couple of days ahead he could explain to them how to work things.

Also, if someone has a digital camera they're willing to share, we could post some higher quality stills along with it.

None of this is all that difficult to do, I just don't have a laptop (Yet... Still haven't been able to convince my wife that I really, really need one, LOL).

It looks like Lasher is going to be organizing this, which is great because that means that we have someone that knows what their doing looking after something that is so important. As this is the only way that some of us will be seeing this wedding.
