HOW DO i SHARE AN IDEA FOR A BOOK WITH AN AUTHOR AND MAKE SURE i GET PAID FOR THE IDEA? I THINK IT COULD BE A BEST SELLER.

I hate to burst your bubble but the odds of hitting a bestseller in mainstream are about the same as winning the lottery. In erotica I'd imagine it'd be a lot smaller.

The odds of finding a decent author who doesn't have enough book ideas of her/his own are at about the same odds.

Don't shout at them? (using all caps comes across as shouting)

Writing is pretty much a do-it-yourself proposition. And compared to the sheer volume of time skill, passion it takes to turn your great idea into a sellable book? Your idea is the smallest part of the labor.

You won't find many writers willing to talk to you, actually, Suppose they had already thought of something like your idea, you might try to sue them. Better to protect themselves at the cost of missing out on one or two.

... I once had a reader expect a portion of my sale, because she had read the story before it sold and given me her opinion on it-- NOT as an editor, just saying that she wished there were a happier ending, and I changed a couple of words to make the ending more clear.

Most writers have had similar experiences and do not want to risk repeats.

Hello stuby...welcome to the AH. I'll be happy to help and can assure you I will uphold my end of the contract. I will, however, require a substantial retainer (against future earnings, of course!) in order to devote the necessary time to the project. So let's get crackin'! :)
