hey All,

I have posted a second part to my story Daybreak, which i placed in the Non human Section (it is a Sci-Fi story). For some reason it keeps ending up in the celebrities area of the boards. There are no Celebrities in the story and though it is set in the Star Trek Universe the setting and characters are of my own devising

I followed the instructions to Edit a submission. In my editted version I changed the catagory back to Non Human also edited the title, and when I checked this morning it is back in the Celebrities section with the old title.

What am i doing wrong, or is there something i need to change, etc.

I am looking forward to hearing your imput.

Thanks

I suggest your 'category' designation is likely being overruled by the Powers that be. (Of course, simple fuckup of computers is always possible).

The Powers reserve the right to pick the category for you, if they don't like yours. Maybe Spock is a 'celebrity' just like Batman; i.e., there are fictional celebrities.

'Non human' sounds to me like the gooey things; blue furred critters with two vaginas, etc.

Celebrities/Fanfic

Fanfic is not just writing about the star. Fanfic is also a category for stories based on popular worlds, writings, characters, etc. I think that to base something in the Star-Trek universe, you really are writing fanfiction. That is why your story would end up in "celebrities."

Although it's called "celebrities" we have to keep in mind that this section *is* also "fanfiction."
