Today, there was a strange and unwelcome self-awareness that overwhelmed me. It felt like an inner well was running perilously low, a feeling of extreme depletion that had left me feeling hollow and drained of my normally essential spark. My motivation, I caught myself recognising with a pang of self-blame, was to drain their energy, their laughter, their being, to enjoy a passing jolt, a contact high off their abundant, effortless energy. It was a fleeting excitement, a pirated flame, quickly snuffed out, with an aftertaste of guilt at having taken without giving, like a ghost hovering over a living feast, never permitted to become a full participant, only to feel others' warmth.

Developing that notion further, a "sex variant" of this vampirism of energy is appallingly possible, and even more agonising. Picture the heightened, crackling voltage of lust energy between persons the unsaid tension, the flirting, the sheer attraction and desire magnetism. For an individual in this "sex vampire" state, the craving would not be for sexual closeness itself but for the clean, exhilarating rush of that charged atmosphere. They might go looking for areas thick with flirting, parties replete with lust, or simply the nearly unspoken, unseen tension at a party of people, not to get caught up in anything, but to hover on the perimeter, unseen and unheard. Their wish would be to feel a vicarious high, a contact buzz off of lust and desire in other people, so that that potent power could sweep over them. It would be a borrowed awakening of their own suppressed desires, an influx of raw energy that is not even theirs, but wholly borrowed a fleeting burst of borrowed sensuality that leaves the user feeling both charged and queerly detached, a voyeuristic ghost at the banquet of lust, hearing remote whispers of passion without ever feeling its touch.

So I could see a few ways:

1. MC goes to kink clubs. They don’t play directly with anyone or even watch, they get off on people getting off.

2. MC creates a hedonists paradise (like imagine Hedonism II but without being in Jamaica so there’s no laws against homosexuality) and creates a network of tunnels and hidden rooms to always be around but never interacting directly with anyone

3. Like 2 but the PLACE is the vampire. It lives off lust and reshapes itself to further encourage people to give into lust so it can maintain and grow itself (for example, someone is about to take a break to go grab condoms, and suddenly they find a fresh box right next to their hand, or people that want to take a break will find themselves guided to places they are isolated from everyone while people that are DTF will find themselves guided into lavish areas so the party never stops). This idea I’ve actually been working on as part of a nonerotic project but it could easily be used for an erotic one
