An Egyptian slave girl (closed with sexy_curves)
In the land of ancient Egypt slavery was not common until after what is called the Greek Period. From this time forward a definition of a slave was understood to be a "person owned by a master, as was any other chattel, used as the master pleased, to the extent of being disposed of by inheritance, gift sale and so forth".
As historians note exactly estimating the number of slaves in Egypt was based on an educated guesswork. In pharaonic times the population of slaves may have been at its greatest during a time know as the New Kingdom, at this time it was thought entire populations were enslaved at times. The riegn of Thutmose III was a era where it is reported that he returned from a campaign in Canaan with nearly 90,000 prisoners. In these times a kingdoms armies usually numbering in the thousands rather than tens of thousands of soldiers so it is believed most of these prisoners were civilians.
In Egypt many men of differing social classes were allowed to select slaves from those captured and brought back.The slaves were selected for various services they would perform. It was found that there was intense competition for the younger and more beautiful women slaves. These women would take on the role of what one one say in our times as that of a Mistress. It was accepted that an Egyptian man could take various slave women as his personel Mistress's, with no objections by his existing spouse.
Ammon was in the prime years of his life in sucess and influence within Egypt. He was considered by many as a man that always attracted the glances of the women, as he kept physically toned and looked younger than his standing in life would indicated.
