Please accept this humble apology to all. First and foremost to my loyal readers, I valued your readership, your votes, your comments on the stories I have been fortunate enough to have been able to participate. You have all been very kind. Secondly,...to the authors/co-authors who were kind enough to allow me to post opposite them. Thirdly, and most importantly, to all those who I have UNINTENTIONALLY offended by my participation.

I am not mad,...I am not hurt,...but I think it best, that I know longer WRITE to stories in the Sexual Role Play Forum.

There will be no need for PRIVATE PM'S to dissuade me from my decision,...so please don't send them.
My decision is my own, for my very own reasons, ...not anyone elses. I have not been asked to do this by anyone. In the future,...I may return,... but for now,...my decision is FINAL.

Again,...Thank You all,...much love and respect to you,.......................................Artful :rose:

EDITED to add:
I am not leaving Literotica, I am only withdrawing from WRITING to Sexual Role Playing threads. Sorry
for NOT making that clearly understood.<smiles>

I have no idea why artful is leaving, haven't threaded with him, but if you're going to be an ass at least use your real name unregistered.

I am sure you will be welcomed back heartily whenever you wish to return. As you said, it is your decision and R/L or any number of other issues can make us to certain things. I hope you start WRITING again soon.

Art, we only posted in a couple of threads together, but I was impressed with the boldness of your characters and writing. Good luck to you, you've gotta do what's in your heart.

This was rude and so uncalled for.......

Art, I had not had the chance to write with you, maybe on your return.

Take care and do what is right for you.

I won't try to pretend that srp has always been a friendly place. We have all had our good times and bad times on this board. I have rarely, in my time here, seen it as viscious as it has become recently, though. Unregistered, whoever you are, maybe you should think about what you are writing before you write it. If you have problems with artful, then keep them somewhere else. Lit is supposed to be a place where we come to enjoy ourselves. If you didn't enjoy writing with artful, then you didn't have to do so.

Artful, we don't know each other, but as someone who left and came back, I hope you can use your time away from Lit to come to a peace with whatever demons drove you away, and that when you come back, you find that srp has become a fun place to be again.

~Cas

Artful, you are one of the most talented writers on Lit and I've enjoyed reading your posts even when I'm not in a thread with you. Then will always be a place here for you. . .right next to me, luv. ::pats the empty seat next to her::

Art
Will miss your writing and hate the fact that you have decided that this is your final course of action that has to be taken! I hope you will see clear of coming back to us who do care for you and your writing! You will be missed dear!!!

Artful, it is always sad to see some one go for any other reason than joyful ones. Take care, be well, and I do hope this is only a temporary leave from the SRP.

Good luck, Art.

I am sorry if it has to be for negative reasons.

Art....

I am so sorry to hear you are taking time out from writing SRP. All I can say is, I hope it isn't anything I have done to cause this, being one of the last people to write with you.

Take it easy Art and come back soon. :) Huggggggggssssssss

Artful,

You don't know me nor I you, but for what ever reason you have for leaving you should listen to the words of support that are given sincerely and ignore the ones cast in spite, even though I know how hurtful they are.

There are clearly people that you enjoy posting with and people that enjoy posting with you. You obviously hurt from the comments made by an individual but consider the other friends you have who will miss your input and writing.

As to the Unregistered Post above.
Is it even worth commenting on? Anyone with decency and intelligence can see it for what it is and the person who wrote it is revelling in his / her own anonimity. How immensely gratifying for them.

I think it is time the moderators or board operators removed the ability for people to post anonymously or unregistered. I know that flys in the face of the first amendment but I seriously think the founders meant that to be freedom of speech for identifiable individuals and not shadow lurkers.

take care

That's not a bad idea, I mean why would anyone who frequents the board post unregistered anyways? I don't think it violates freedom of speech because you have the ability to sign in under your own screen name and post your opinion.

I'm gonna send the unregistred comment to the mods, it was just disgusting and uncalled for.

I agree Pm'......I am sure we who appreciate Artful here will stand by you on that one :)

Hi Snork Maiden!.......hugggssss :) :rose: :rose: :rose:

Hi,
I don't mean to butt in, but as I know our moderator ARaynes is gone for a few days and is new to this anyways I will try to explain.

Laurel, nor the moderators, will remove the ability to post unregistered. You already pointed out the main reason. The freedom of speech. If they start blocking that then what is next?
Please let's not turn Art's thread into a battle. The truly best way to respond to an unregistered person, is to ignore them. They do not exist so poof... they cannot bother us.

Forgive me Art, but I felt obliged to pop in and speak up.

With Artful's permission,

Please forgive me one and all but I felt compelled to write this.
even after being reassured by my Master that I had nothing to do with this decision, I am quite feeling that this is not the caes at all.
I had some misunderstandings, and misconceptions about some threads He was involved in and quite candidly expressed my disapproval ,this was wrong of me VERY WRONG.
I love my Master dearly and after reading all the posts here I feel like a huge ball of sh**. period. I can see how much You all love & respect Him and You are correct to,And He IS talented as a writer (amongst other things )lol but I took that away by my unfairness and for this I apologize to one and all.
I shall talk with my Master tonite of this subject, let Him know I trust Him implicitly and see if He will indeed return soon to SRP , thats the best I can do
It is not fair that His great love and caring for my feelings causes Him to do things that deprive others of His greatness..
With a heavy heart....Artful's dream:rose:

Unregistered ...

The only ones who make their statements as unregistered do not have any conviction in my book! They lack the corage it takes to sign their name to the things they say, as they do not want anyone to know how they truly feel. they are hiding from the rest of us what they realy are and personally that is the worst hypocrite in this world!

Again it's not that we are taking away freedom of speech, you can still say what you want to say but just not cower behind an unregistered name. I have no plans of starting a battle at all, I'm just saying it would be a good idea.

More apologies for sidetracking the thread on the issue of 'unregistered' - and definitely do not want to start a battle of any sort - but I just wanted to make sure the argument for allowing unregistered posts was fully made. Laurel has mentioned that one of the major reasons why she allows unregistered posts is so that people can to seek advice and support when dealing with problems they are too embarrassed to admit to having, or to risk any possibility of anybody finding out about. This is something she feels to be a very important function of Lit.

I haven't been here for all that long, but in the past months I have actually seen a number of people post as unregistered for just that reason - and they received help that they would not have been able to get, had the unregistered option were unavailable. Because of this, I must say that I agree with Laurel about the importance of providing people with this option, and agree with her decision to allow unregistered posts. As nasty as trolls can be, and as difficult as ignoring them can be, they can be ignored; and I think it is worth the effort to do so and to continue to allow anonymous posting.
