Buffy was patrolling that night. Eighteen and just starting her senior year. She was getting bored from waiting for a vampire to jump out, and she'd only been there half an hour. Her favorite band was playing at the Bronze and she was standing in the graveyard with a cross and a couple of stakes.
When a twig snapped behind her she smiled. Suddenly she did a roundhouse kick hitting the vampire in the face. He quickly recovered, grabbed her by the shoulders, and threw her a couple of yards. Buffy groaned and stood up."So you're one of the 'throwing' vampires. I really can't stand you guys." She quickly did cartweel, her feet kicking him in the stomach. She punched him twice, kicked him, and then put a stake through his heart.
Then she saw him. "Angel," she smiled. Then someone hit her in the head with a rock from behind, knocking her uncncious.
