Professor Diana Carter Engelwood looked at the five graduate students who had volunteered to help her with the sea turtle project at Sapelo Island.
Vicky and Todd Ingram were a recently married couple both of whom she'd taught since they were Juniors. Sam Lacey was a big black fellow from Jamaica and one of the rising stars in the Marine Biology program at UF. Tracie Toles was also big, unfortunaely not in the right way but she was Diana's good right hand and had been with her on Sapelo for the past three summers.
That left David Lucas. He was an inigma to her.
He had moved into the program late but showed a real zeal for learning. His marks though were erratic, a briliant paper, followed by a dismal test score or the other way around.
He was quiet in class with few friends that she knew of and she'd been surprised when she got his email saying he would join the Sapelo field trip.

"Ok Guys, the quarters are up there, so let's get going!"
She waved at the launch that brought them outas it headed into the sound. They wouldn't see it again for a week.

The big house was a weathered storm beaten clapboard affair with only the bare essentials for survival much less any real comfort.
A generator that provided a source of electricity was it's only acknowledement of modern times.

On the wide porch they stopped and she assigned them rooms. Vicky and Todd the big bedroom upstairs. Sam and David each with a smaller upstairs room. Tracie had the spare room downstairs and Diana would sleep in the little bungalow that stood right next to the main house.

"OK guys let's get unpacked, I'm going to fire up the generator."

This is a story of obsession...
A closed thread for Chanaud and I, and before anyone says...not another thread for Ari?!...know that we are giving up "EuroRail" because we have become OBSESSED!

(OOC= great premise Ari....look forward to reading both your writings)

On her way down to the generator, Diana couldn’t help humming a happy tune. This was her favorite time of the year. She has been studying the mating process of the almost extinct Loggerhead Turtles on the Sapelo Island for three years. Since her first trip out, she and Tracie made progress and watched this project grow into a notable project. It earned grants, universal recognition and a team of students clamoring to join.

Using a flashlight, Diana used the walls to guide her way down the rickety old stairway. Her nose flared at the combination of dust, mold and the salt air. It was a scent she had come to love. When she opened the cellar door, a cool breeze rushed through her making her shiver. It was a strange contrast from the thick humid Georgia air. She briefly wondered if she should run to her bungalow and throw a long sleeve shirt over her usual attire of khaki shorts and thin white t-shirt. Instead she told herself, “Stop being a wimp. Beside, it won’t take long.”

Knowing the layout of the floor plan, she boldly marched over to the generator and lifted the cover. She checked the plug and fired it up. The lights flickered on for a brief moment. She fired it again. No sign of life. Cursing inwardly, she kicked it. It was a solution to all when machinery doesn’t work.

“Professor Englewood!” She jumped out of her skin at the voice calling from behind. “Don’t kick it.”

“David you scared me!”

"I didn't mean to."
He knelt down beside her in the near darkness and began tinkering with the generator.
She flashed the beam of the light across his back, he was wearing a white t-shirt just as she was. She couldn't help but notice that his shoulders were broad and his waist narrow...that he was in fact a very well built young man...thinking objectively of course.

David knew she was looking at him. He'd seen her stealing glances his way many times. He smiled as he realised what was wrong. He stood up suddenly and and managed to knock the flashlight from her hand. It rolled away across the cellar floor. They were in pitch darkness.

Her heart raced.
"David?"

"Gas"
He was so close to her that she jumped back!
"What?"

"It's out of gas Doctor Engelwood...that's all."
His voice was coming from beyond the generator and suddenly the beam of light was back, flashing off the low beamed cieling and sandy ground as he walked towards her.

"Here."
He handed her the flash light, "I'll go out and get some gas, I saw some cans on the porch."

"Ahhh David...why did you follow me in here?"

He turned, silhouetted in the doorway and looked at her.
"I wanted to tell you I'd be sleeping outside, down near the beach. I brought a tent."

Diana walked back out into the sunlight, rubbing her wrist where he'd touched her.

A smile flirted her soft, full lips. David continued to puzzler her. She never took him to be the adventurous type. Diana decided, maybe he will be of use after all.

She poked around the old cellar until he arrived with two large cans of gasoline. She took one from him and they worked together in a comfortable silence. When the generator ignited at the first pull, cheers were overheard from the upstairs. She smiled and turned to face David. He was gone! All she saw was his back running up the stairs humming the same tune she had earlier.

Diana ran up the stairs and yelled at her companions, "We have one hour of daylight. Let's meet outside in five minutes."

On her way to her bungalow, she saw David pitching his tent and laying out his gear. Wanting to reciprocate for his kindness, she walked over to him.

"David, do you need any help?"

He'd stripped off his shirt as he worked to get the tent raised before they were all supposed to meet.
He was surprised to hear her voice behind him and she was surprised to see a tattoo on his left bicep. A sexy looking mermaid with...

He looked up at her and smiled,
"Sure Doctor Englewood, If you can hold this out while I drive the pegs down..."

Diana took the fabric and pulled. David dropped to his knees beside her. As he hammered the tent pegs home he was aware of her smooth tan slender legs next to him. Her feet were small, even inside the Nike's he could tell that, beautifully articulated ankles, the gleam of an anklet against her tawny skin tone.

"Finished!"
He stood up and put his hands on his hips.
"How do you like it?....My new abode!"

"Very nice David."
She thought about asking him where he'd gotten the tattoo, but the sun was sinking and she could see the others standing outside the beach house waiting.

She turned back and found him looking at her with an intensity you don't usually see in deep brown eyes.

"We better go up there."
He said.

"Yes...we better."
She'd ask about the tattoo later.

The group worked so diligently trying to find fresh turtle tracks, they barely noticed the darkness after the sun set into the coastline. After, Diana blinked a few times, it dawned on her it was getting late. She straightened her back and scanned the beach for her peers. They were all scattered except for David who seemed to be by her constant side.

"David, I think it's time to call it a night." She told him.

"Yeah, I think so too. Are you going to join us in a game of Scrabble tonight?" He asked casually.

"No, not tonight. I have some writing to do for this research." She was really waiting for a phone call from her husband. He always called the day of her arrival and her departure.

From her bungalow, Diana can hear the laughter from the others. She sat at her antique oak desk with regret. Glancing at her watch, she noticed her husband hasn't called yet. It dawned on her she wasn't dissappointed or wondered why. With her head bent down, she continued her work.

No one could beat Traci at scrabble. She knew words that the others had never heard of and every one was spelled correctly. They gave up challenging her after the online dictionary proved her right for the fourth time.
The combination of a hard days work, a few beers and the fresh sea air had left everyone exhausted and the group broke up early.

David stepped out on the porch and looked down the beach to the frothing white line of the surf.
The repetitive boom of the waves was a tangible sensuous thing like the deep beating of jungle drums. A fat gibbous moon was rising, casting a glittering silver path across the dark ocean.
It was like a siren song calling to him.
As he stepped off the porch he saw that Diana's light was still on.
He paused for a moment considering...
What the hell...

"David, what is it?"
She looked tired and a little pre-occupied.
He almost changed his mind and began to mutter something
innocuous, but...

"Doctor Englewood, It's a beautiful night. I was going to take a walk along the beach before I turn in and I was wondering..."

She waited...the door creaked.
"Yes?"
"I was wondering if you might like to walk with me."

Diana paused for a moment and studied the dark silhouette in the door frame. She shouldn't. Just then she saw the full moon beaming behind him. Oh, why not, she thought.

"Oh, why not. Let me grab a sweater."

A minute later, she's closing the door behind her, wearing a white sweater.

They walked side by side along the shoreline. There were a few moments of struggle for small talk. What does one talk to a student on a moonlit night? Diana thought. She had to chuckle to herself at the thought.

Breathing in deeply, she allowed the fresh salty air consume her. In the moonlight you can see her eyes shine with exuberance.

"Oohhhhh...don't you just love it here..." The sudden high pitch voice made David smile in surprise.

She grabbed his hand. "Come on...I want to show you something."

"What is it, Professor?"

"It's a secret."

He wasn't sure where they were going and didn't care. Having her hand in his was what mattered.
He'd dreamed of touching her, wondering what her skin would feel like. Her hands had fascinted him.
Long tapering fingers, nails manicured and clearly polished, she rarely wore color on them. A wedding ring, a simple band nothing fancy. A small scar on the back of her right hand the one he was holding...

The moon had risen to one side, broken clear of the sea like a lantern in the night.
He ventured a squeeze.
She squeezed back and broke away, running towards something.
"Come on David! You need to see this!"
His heart was pounding but not from the rapid walk up the beach.

David was right at her heels until she stopped suddenly.

"Look.." She pointed to a palm tree being choked by a heavy vine. About twenty large white fleshy flowers with yellow spikes were in full bloom.

"What is it?"

Diana smiled. "It's called Cereus also known as Night Blooming Cactus. I planted it 3 years ago. I bought the seeds in the West Indies...."

A pungent vanilla scent filled their nostrils. Diana roman nose flared as she breathed deeply. The moon's glare shined in her eyes reflecting a proud parent.

"It's beautiful." David whispered in her ear.

Her smile was genuine. "Every year, I come here late at night. This is the first I brought someone."

Cereus...cereus...night blooming cactus...three years ago...beautiful...beautiful...legs...her face...her body...want you, want you professor...
He tried desperately to listen, to remember everything she said.
He couldn't do it.
Her presence in the moonlight next to him was triggering more responses than he thought he could control.
She was the night blooming flower...she was the intoxicant...he was lost...lost...lost.

"David?...David?"
She was looking at him with a puzzled expression.
He jammed his face down to one of the blooms.

"Smells wonderful!...Really does Professor."

He looked up and she laughed.
"I think you have pollen on your nose."
She pursed her lips to blow it off and he kissed her.

Even as his lips made contact he knew he'd blown it. Blown it completely on the first night...

The kiss caught her by surprise. Her hand stopped in midair as his lips pressed harder. Diana gave in to him for a brief moment.
The loud waves crashing along the seashore faded away and the only thing running through her mind was how soft and how good his lips felt.

After a few long seconds, she finally pushed him away.

Breathlessly, she whispered, "David...don't"

His intense dark eyes pleaded with her.

"Diana, I want you.."

"I'm a married woman..." Her voice faded with lack of conviction.

The powerful scent of the Cereus was a powerful drug. It made her dizzy and clouded her mind. A glaze formed over her eyes.

David stepped closer. His face brazen with lust.

"Diana..."

She stiffened in surprise as David's arm encircled her waist.
NO...this wasn't happening!

His hard body moved against hers, his warm lips grazed her cheek.
I want you...I want you... I want you...
Over and over again, his voice intimate and soothing against her skin. His body, eager, insistant, bearing her back... David felt not at all like her husband...it was like...like....

He kissed her.
She closed her lips tight, tried again to push him away.
His hands were on her ass, pulling her into him, she could feel his cock rigid as a young sapling...
Oh god...nooooo

Her lips parted...she melted....

"Professor Englewood!...Professor...Come quick! Something's wrong with Sam!...Professor!"
It was Tracie!

A quick flash of feverish eyes... break away as fast as a reflection of moonlight...a knowing smile.
He was gone.
Tracie was running up the beach following their footprints.

Panic sunk in.

Did Tracie see us? Is Sam ok? It will take hours before we can get help. Thoughts plagued Diana's head as they ran back to the old house.

We ran up the stairs and burst through his door. There was Sam sitting up and reading a book, calmly and at peace with himself. His face turned from surprise to a rowful of bright whites as he grinned.

"I'm ok. It was just gas." Relief escaped them.

"Sam! What did I tell you about chewing your food." Diana's motherly tone took over disguising the panic that consumed her.

"Yes, mother. I will chew my food." He mocked causing everybody to break out into laughter.

"Well, since everybody is allright. We should call it a night. Good night."

I turned quickly trying to avoid Tracie's watchful eyes.

Oh God, I hope she didn't see anything.

It didn't help that David was right at her heels.

Once the house was settled down again she walked out on the porch. The moon was high now and the beach, the scrub palmetto's, the ocean were all bathed in a blue silvery light.

"I'm sorry."
The voice took her by surprise. David was standing in the shadows.

"Come out. ..damn you scared me."
She leaned back against the rail.

"Be careful Doctor Engelwood, that whole bannister is about to come down." he pushed the weathered wood and it swayed precariously.
"I'll fix it tomorrow."
He was already down the steps and walking fast towards his tent.

"David...wait. I need to tell you something."
He turned around in the deep moonshadow of the palms and watched her as she came quietly towards him.

She was determined to make sure this doesn't happen again. Her mind was set until she saw the hunger in his eyes. All of a sudden Diana was nervous.

"ermmm...David, what happened back there?"

"What do you mean, Professor Englewood? I wanted to kiss you so I did. Would you like another one?" There was an air of cockiness in his tone.

"ummm...NO! It can't happen again. I'm a married woman. And you're a student. My student."

Yes! He was her student. It can't happen again. She already broke the teacher/student ethical code.

David shrugged his shoulders.

"I'm kinda tired. It's there anything else, Professor Englewood?"

"No, David. Good night."

The next morning dawned hot and clammy. The sea was flat, oily...the surf seemed sluggish and drifted in with an old woman's sigh. It was going to be a scorcher.

He'd been up an hour and had taken advantage of the quiet dark to slip naked into the sea, to float on the still, gentle water and look up at the predawn sky, wondering what he should do.
He considered strilking the tent and heading home with the supply boat due in tomorrow. Tell them he was sick and give up on this whole plan...but...
It wouldn't hurt to stay awhile...maybe he'd even learn something about those damned turtles...

He was slipping on his khaki work shorts when he heard the sound of someone running up the beach.
It was still pretty early for anyone to be up!

He looked out the tent flap and saw Diana running. She had on brief white shorts and a halter top and looked like a fleet gazelle as she stretched out along the surf line.
She glanced quickly at the tent but he doubted she had seen him.
He watched until she was out of sight and then he followed her at an easy pace. A little exercise was a good thing...right?

Around the palm covered headline he knew was a sheltered cove and for some reason he had a hunch she might stop there.
He broke away from the beach and started across the palmetto scrub and sawgrass to the other side.
Sure enough there was a figure in the sea...swimming lazily under the hot rising sun.

He stepped quietly from the tree line.
In front of him a few yards away in a neat pile were Professor Englewood's clothes.
David smiled and sat down next to them to wait...

Diana felt every pore open while the sweat rolled off her. The sun was brutal and the humidity was taking its toll. She had a ritual. Jog two miles and dive into the ocean. Nude. It was the only way she felt connected with the open sea.

The cool ocean water was invigorating. It immediately soothed her overheated body and the pounding in her head. Yes, this was the life. She can stay here forever.

Calm ocean waves carried her to the next sandbar. When her back felt the soft sinking sand, Diana stood up and scanned the beach. Just as she expected, the beach was empty. It was safe to go back. She took one graceful diving plunge and swam back to shore.

The stinging of the salt water made Diana walk back to her clothes blindly.

“Good morning, Professor.” A voice made her jump in fright and scream.

“David! You scared me.”

“Uhhh…Didn’t mean to scare you.”

She reached for her t-shirt to wipe her stinging eyes. Instead she tripped on something hard and landed on her back. When she looked up, her sight focused on the same tall impressive figure that plagued last night’s dream.

His hand reached out for her.

“Let me help you up Diana.”

Within a split second, Diana was standing staring into David’s deep brown eyes. The same passionate eyes. Same lips. Same….

Their bodies cast long blue shadows up the beach from the dawning sun.
The tide had turned and it was lapping at their heels like hungry puppies as they kissed.
There had been almost no hesitation this time.
David's lips had found hers, his arms had encircled her naked waist and and the effect of the melting embrace was immediate!
Their bodies flowed into each others, Diana's breasts were crushed against his chest, his arousal hard against her thighs..lips parting...tongues caressing...her nails furrowing his scalp...his hands stroking the warm wet skin of back and buttocks, pulling her even closer...
Gulls circling...the morning breeze warm...

"David..."
She pulled away,
"We can't..."
He took her down with him, down into the surf.
They kneeled in the sand, still embracing.
He buried his face between her breasts, his lips began tasting the salt of her skin, moving across the sweet curves until they found the stiffening coral buds. Her hands pressing his face to her...his tongue moving on her nipples...
The ocean, surging, booming...splashing against them.
As she gave herself over to the molten heat of the moment she thought of a scene in a movie, one that David had no doubt never heard of...
From Here to Eternity...

His mouth covered her breast and took it deep into his mouth. Diana felt his tongue flicker around the nipple. Back and forth. Back and forth.

She threw her back and released a guttural howl to the blazing sun. Seagulls screamed back as they fluttered above them.

Diana fell on her back taking him with her. Hands were roaming everywhere.

Knuckles kneading. Palm pressing. Moans. Then a cry out of her lips. “Ohhhhhh..David…”

They rolled over several times. His mouth found it’s way down between her legs. Long, tanned limbers wrapped around his head as his tongue pushed her hood up. Immediately, his mouth enclosed her clit taking it in like he did earlier with her nipple.

Volts of electrical shock coursed through her body. Diana pushed forward involuntarily. David’s tongue slid down her slit slowly and paused at her entrance. Excess moisture rushed out like a waterfall. David pressed further and drank it up.

Feeling her urgency, David worked his way up her body.

The water swirled around them and spilled over them...moved them with it's power. But her legs held him tight, his face a captive in the delicious refuge of her sex. His tongue was alive inside her, seeking to touch, to taste,
to absorb the very texture of her tight sweet passage. His hands were locked around her hips, fingers spreading the satin pink folds open for the heated invasion of his mouth.

David's cock was steel hard, pressed into the wet shifting sand beneath them...no real conscious thoughts...no objectivity...he had her...fuck everything...Everything!...He had her...

The wave hit them, spun them, swirled them apart...
She sat up, blinked the salt water out of her eyes.
"David...."
she started to say, and then he was on her!
His hard young body , taught with arousal was pressing her into the sand.
"David...."
His lips crushed hers, his knee split her legs apart...her hands, her nails, scoring into his back in long ragged lines.
He presses urgently against her waiting sex.
The soft head of his erection is sliding between the satiny petals...her legs open, allowing him to...
THRUST..DEEP...God yessssssssssssss...
Deep into her. David's cock, strong and hard inside Diana's body...unbelievable.
Thrusting like the crashing waves beyond the surf.
Thrusting...thrusting....thrusting...

Diana's back was fully arched, pressing her sharp nipples into David's chest as he continued to thrust into her forcefully, building the inner pressure deep in her.

Her body was on fire. Tingles were felt on the edge of her scalp. Seagulls fluttering above them were answering her screams.

She locked her ankles around his as she thrust her hips up.

"Oh yesssssssssssssss......"

Like a wild alley cat, Diana grabbed his head and brought his lips down to hers.

Biting....Sucking...Thrashing..... Their tongues battled a losing war.

She grabbed his tongue with her lips, pulled it deep into her mouth and started sucking on it as if it was his cock. Out of control, David moaned deep into her mouth and drove deeper into her pulsating cunt.

Like a suction, David felt her pulling on his steel rod.

Pulsating...Milking.....Screams were heard for miles as Diana exploded. Waves and waves of hot pleasure rushed out of her.

AS Diana cascaded over the edge of her own orgasm, David's body gave into the blind raw power of his own sexual
juggernaut as the heat and the hunger of her tight passage, shuddering with creamy release became to much to withstand!
His cuming was one with the pounding surf and she felt herself filling with his warm gushing loads!
She arched back, dug in tighter, cried out in primal abandon and rode the waves for another!... rising, rising, risisng to a second wrenching climax as David delivered his milky semen into her body with each hip grinding thrust...

It was Tracie again, hearing the cries up the beach who came running and now was sitting behind the sawgrass, parting it with one hand, looking at the delicious scene below. The other hand dipped between her legs, frigging her swollen clit while she watched Diana with unabashed desire written on her face...

They collapsed together allowing their humming bodies to slow to its normal pace. Warm ocean waves cooled their temperature under the hot boiling sun. After a few long seconds, David searched for Diana’s lips and kissed her ever so passionately to prolong their ecstasy.

Finally, he rolled off her. David jumped to his feet and pulled her up.

“Come on..”

Clinging her hand tightly, he dove into a crashing wave. Feeling just as carefree, she was right behind him. They swam in perfect unison, matching every stroke to the next breaking wave.

Tracie watched with envy as she absently traced a heart in the soft white sand. Self-conscious, she retraced her steps to the house.

When the bottom moved from under their feet, David stopped and Diana followed. Treading water, he grabbed her. Her long lean legs automatically wrapped around his narrow waist. Feeling their passion rise again, their mouths found each other and soon tongues were thrashing out in battle.

When her moans echoed deep in his mouth, David knew she was ready. Without warning, he was deep in her womb with one fierce plunge.
