BIO:

Angelina Dupont turned the sign to open, it was a fairly normal day in Tudo. The city was known for its rain and for being bone chillingly cold most of the year. She glanced out the ornate glass door at the front of "A Charmed Life" her occult store.

A devout wiccan since birth, her mother a wiccan her grand mother a wiccan and so on. It was something that was passed down generation after generation in her family. Mostly sole practitioners but her family did coven together during spiritual holidays Samhain, Yule, Imbolc, Lammas, Ostara, Beltane, Litha and Mabon.

Angelina did not travel home for every one but she always preformed a ritual and rang her mother.......like all mothers Gretchen Dupont worried non stop about her daughter especially since Angelina moved to the next state and began living her own life.

Inhaling deeply enjoying the fresh scent of rain, Angelina turned and began to organize some candles, a new shipment had arrived so now she had to restock the shelves. Her shop was pretty much like any occult shop, candles, oils, herbs, books, athemes and the usual ritual garb mixed in with a few things she called party favors which was her polite way of saying bogus wiccan wares that teenagers usual rushed to snap up.

Like " Love Potions for Teens" a pretty pink covered book that was nothing more then an aromatherapy manual. Sure they invoked a mood but they hardly guaranteed the jock on the football team was going to sweep you off you feet and off to prom. which was usually when the book sold old before she could restock, during prom season it was her best seller and valentines day.

Along with the usual garb Angelina also had a collection of books, amulets and atheme's that were not quite for teenage wiccan enthusiasts. She kept these in a separate part of the shop that was curtained off from the rest and everything behind the curtain was secured in glass cabinets. She only had few customers that ever where allowed behind the curtain to purchase. So mostly it was her private collection. Her way of keeping her religion alive.

To gather these items she had traveled the world and visited other practitioners and brought at auction and estate sales. It always amazed her what she found at estate sales that the families just dismissed as trash.

That is where Angelina planed to go this afternoon and estate sale, the family lineage was known through the wiccan community but Angelina was fairly sure the grandchildren had no interest in it or the occult so any items could go cheap. She loved a good bargain.

Malachi made his living using others, he was a bored demon and bound to human rules which meant he needed to eat, drink and sleep just like everyone else. He lived on Earth as a bit of a rogue, only doing Hell's bidding when he was called upon. His powers assisted a little but he longed to increase his power so much more.

He could look into the eyes of another and see all that they longed for, see into their soul. He would then command them, thus only a strong mind could break his hold. He had yet to come across one, humans were such cattle.

Malachi made his way back to his loft overlooking a dirty rubbish pile of an alley in some backwater suburb of the world. He needed more, so much more to live comfortably. He could order others to steal for him, order women to sleep with him but it was dull and often or not; they would get caught by cops or go to them in confusion later.

He wanted a seat of power within Hell but his powers were nothing fancy and they were weakly bound to humans. He also ran the risk of encountering a powerful being such as a witch or an angel, most were defeated easily but occasionally he would run into one not so easy to subdue. Therein lied the challenge, if he couldn't take a powerful witch or an arch angel; what chance did he stand against the most powerful demons of Hell?

Malachi unlocked the door to his small apartment and immediately he loathed his surroundings, he took a vase and threw it against the wall; smashing it to pieces with a cry of anguish. He had a plan to gain power but the piece he needed was missing, the stupid amulet was nowhere to be found. No matter how many worthless humans he had sent after it, it eluded him. Surfing the internet did no good, the ancient name had been lost; 'lujuria talis' so now he had nothing to go on but a glimpse he had caught of it long ago.

He made himself a cup of coffee and then sat down at the table and poured over the newspaper that his latest whore had left him. On the sixth page, he sprayed coffee everywhere and leapt out of his seat, right there in colour was a picture of the very same amulet he was looking for. He read the article quickly.

"Nice old lady dies...blah blah blah...family decides to sell trash for treasure...blah bla-auction! They're having an auction of her estate at....fuck me, today?! Today at two..." His eyes lifted to the clock, "Fuck! Ten past two already?!"

Malachi didn't hesitate another second, he grabbed the keys to his Lexus, his coat and his wallet, tearing the address from the newspaper as he ran out the door, barely bothering to close it behind him.

"This Earth bound bullshit won't be for nothing!" He growled as he got into his car, slammed the door and sped off.

Angelina Dupont glanced at her watch, it was a little after 12pm. She rang up the sale from the last customer , a slim pale girl with a shock of deep purple hair and the thickest black eyeliner Angelina had ever seen. The girl purchased some incense and candles and left the store. Angelina checked her watch again and knew she better shut up shop if she was going to make it to the auction at 2pm. She went to the door and turned over the sign to closed and then locked the door.

Her apartment was above the store so once everything was secure Angelina went up the stairs at the back of the shop and into her bedroom to get ready. She was going to just wear the black dress she had on but she needed to touch up her makeup and to grab her leather jacket as it was still raining outside. Then she left her apartment and the shop and headed all the way across town. She was going to be a little early but she had planed it that way. She double checked the address against the news paper she held in her hand as the taxi driver pulled up to the curb and once she spotted the auction sign she payed him the fair and got out.

It was a beautiful old Victorian home, the gardens had seen better days as had the home itself but it all still had charm. It was a little sad the family where just selling it off a piece at a time including the home. Angelina hurried up the front steps to get out of the rain that had just gotten heavier, the inside of the front pallor had been converted to an auction room and had neat rows of chairs and already a few people had arrived. She took a few minutes to look about before registering to bid and then finding her seat. She flicked through the auction listing to see what might be of interested to her.

It was now 10 minutes to 2 and the room was filling up fast, every so often Angelina looked around to see who might be competition for the pieces she wanted to bid on. Over the years she had gotten to know the other collectors of wiccan artifacts so when she saw them at auction she knew she had to go hard to get what she wanted. Tucking her hair behind her ear she made some marks next to items 4, 6 and 10 on the listing.

Chances where these items had been listed without the auctioneer having any idea what they really where, but then again they could be exactly what they claimed to be. Only time would tell. Just then a chill ran up Angelina's spine it was a like a cool gust of wind had blown through the room and chilled her. She shivered and looked towards the door just in time to see a man with dark hair and dark eyes enter the room.....

She hadn't meant to stare but something about him drew her in. It was only when the Auctioneer began to speak that she was able to draw her attention away from him, she shook herself mentally how strange she thought but soon put it out of her mind to focus on the auction.

He was late, this was no good and no matter how much he upped the speed of the stolen Porsche; he was always going to be late. He raced from the car and into the large manor where the auction would be held. Slowing as he approached the room and opened the door, his eyes piercing everyone else and flashing across the distance to the auctioneer. They were brought back by a calling soul, a gorgeous redhead who was lost in his eyes.

He searched hers, spiralling into the depths until she burnt his core. His eyes flashed and released her just as the auctioneer began to speak. He scowled at the little witch, she was weak and easy but able to cause him some discomfort and pain nonetheless.

Malachi took a seat up behind a young woman, he could smell the riches on her, the easy sway of her mind that made her plucked from reality so simply. He leaned forward and breathed against her ear, taking away her ability to jerk from his touch with a soft breath. His fingers closed around the nape of her neck, her long chocolate coloured hair covering the sight of his proximity.

“Right now Bridget, nothing matters to you…nothing but my desires. What I wish is your greatest command. Failing me is tantamount to death, you would rather kill yourself than fail my orders. You don’t speak, you don’t piss, eat or fuck unless I want it. Say yes Bridget.” He hissed in her ear.

“Yes.” Came the breathy response of the robotic toy in his grasp.

“Good girl. Call me Sir now Bridget.” He murmured quietly.

“Sir, yes Sir.” She mumbled, her eyes a mist of the dreamy world he had placed inside her head.

“Your fondest wish right now is to get me that amulet, none of the other junk. Just that amulet, whatever it takes. Answer Bridget.”

“Yes Sir…the amulet Sir…” She whispered as the auctioneer started, the amulet close to last on the list of things to be sold.

Malachi was satisfied and sat back, releasing her neck, she was at his beck and call until he chose to release her. Bridget sat there, stiff as a board while her engagement ring glinted in the dimly lit room. She was alone though, Malachi knew her fiancé was at work; a rich stockbroker and a workaholic. She knew she was a trophy wife but it didn’t matter, his money made up for his inability in the bedroom.

Meanwhile his eyes searched the witch out again, he was determined to break through the wall of discomfort he held with her. The redhead continued to glance back at him, her eyes giving him flashes of her shop and her life but he kept pressing, wanting to know more without knowing why.

Angelina saw him touch the woman in front of him and whisper something, she guessed that they must be together. What she didn't know was why he fascinated her so, or why she would even care who he was with but every now and then she found herself looking over to him.

She must be more lonely then she thought, it had been about 8 months since she had broken it off with Damien, a local wiccan with a keen interest in the occult history but it seemed he also had an interest in gambling and drugs. Angelina wanted nothing to do with that or him and when she discovered that he had stolen a necklace of hers to pawn it for a gambling debt she had told him so and not only banned him from he life but her shop as well.

Item 4 was on the block, the auctioneer called for bids and Angelina stayed in the fast paced game long enough to secure the item for $100, she just hoped that if it was simply a journal that it was at least an interesting read. Mrs Elenore Jane Montgomery was well known to most devout wiccans often holding hand fasting ceremonies at her estate for young couples and a few circle castings with hire up wiccans. Angelina checked the journal off her list and sat back to once again watch the auction and steal glances at the mysterious man across the room.

Once Angelina saw the letter opener she knew it was simply that so she crossed it off her list also and did not bother to bid, she was watching the room as the last item on her list came up for bidding, the mysterious man shifted in his seat and the woman began to bid before the auctioneer had barely finished his description. The wanted it bad she could tell, Angelina threw in a couple of bids and each time the man shot her a frustrated glance and then would touch the womans shoulder and she would be off bidding again.

In the end the amulet was going for $800 and Angelina just couldn't afford that not with out knowing more about it and it was obvious by the way the other women was dressed that she had money to burn. Angelina sighed and crossed it off her list.

The Amulet was up on the block at long last and Bridget bid once, the other woman; the redhead that was drawing Malachi’s eyes continuously decided to bid as well. Malachi leaned close and touched Bridget’s shoulder to make her bid again, this dance continued and Malachi started to get angry with the woman; how dare she! He shot glares at her and forced Bridget to continue bidding, when at last the woman gave up, he felt an overwhelming sense of triumph and waited out the rest of the auction in a tense state; eager to get his hands on his prize.

Finally they were allowed to move up and pay, he whispered to Bridget to stand and walk up to the auctioneer to pay and that she was to say he was her fiancé. The crimson haired woman also made her way up to collect her items, the amulet was brought forth and Malachi reached a hand out to take it, his brow furrowed in confusion; it was radiating heat. His hand closed around it and he gasped and let it drop back onto the cushion. He clutched his burnt and wounded hand, it wouldn’t allow him to pick it up.

Malachi growled and moved to Bridget’s back once she’d paid for it, he gripped her neck without so much as a subtle movement, “Get. The. Amulet.”

She moved instantly, her eyes glazed with fear of his wrath as she took the Amulet from the cushion and slipped it into her purse. Malachi moved to her side, keeping his toy close lest his spell be broken for loss of contact over an extended period. The scarlet haired woman walked over to them and he regarded her warily, neglecting to say a word until she did.

Angelina was disappointed to see the amulet go, it was pretty and it could possibly be an addition to her collection but $800 was too much on a whim. At the end of the auction she stood and fixed her skirt and headed up to collect and pay for her items. A chill raced up and down her spine and when she glanced over her shoulder she found the mysterious man looking at her, his look was intense and forboding...almost like he was annoyed with her, maybe he didn't like paying so much for the amulet. Angelina just shrugged and turned her eyes away from him pulling her jacket around her more, as she then stepped up signed a check for the auctioneer.

She picked up the journal and was looking at the old worn leather cover when she noticed the couple with the amulet she wondered if they would just let her look at it, so she walked towards them "Hi my name is Angelina DuPont, that really is a magnificent piece...I was wondering if I may have just have a look at it? I have never seen anything quite like it" she smiled at them warmly and extended her hand to shake his, Angelina tried to ignore the intense way the man looked at her, the girl just looked as if she was sedated it was very odd she didn't even look at Angelina.

She dismissed it as being because of her outfit, often she was ignored or looked at as if she was a freak because of her love for vintage and gothic clothing. The man looked almost aggressive and Angelina was having second thoughts about introducing herself "congratulations on the win by the way" she added as a peace offering.

He eyed the approaching redhead with suspicion, something about her confounded him and made him wary of….what? An attack? A thief? What was she? He knew that she was a witch but not nearly strong enough to sense him let along pose any kind of formidable threat to him. Then why did her presence make him overly cautious? He shook it off as she introduced herself to him and Bridget.

Bridget didn’t acknowledge her, Malachi knew she wouldn’t because the woman was still under his spell. She was barely there beneath the amount of power he had laced her with to ensure this went off without a hitch. Malachi shook her hand with a charming smile and wrapped his hand around Bridget’s waist to pull her close to him.

“I am Malachi Callaghan and this is my fiancé Bridget Protencia, thank you for your congratulations dear Angelina. You bid for the piece with an admirable passion but I’m afraid my Bridget was quite intent on winning it.” He squeezed her hip, his hostile attitude seemed to disappear into the charismatic façade he now wore.

“Bridget, get the amulet out for me.” He said softly, his sparkling eyes remaining on Angelina as Bridget obediently pulled it from her purse.

“Hand it to her.” He told Bridget as her arm moved automatically, “I see no harm in you taking a look Miss DuPont.”

Although he was guarded about allowing this much because he had little trust in most people and less in the woman standing before him, she fascinated him in many ways and he wondered if the amulet would affect her in the same way it did him.

“You bid on some interesting objects Miss DuPont, are you a collector perhaps?” He said, spouting the lie that he didn’t know why she wanted the items.

The woman's behavior was nothing shot of peculiar and it un-nerved Angelina a little, it was like the woman was barely conscious or perhaps sedated. It was a very strange thing to see at an auction, especially when she had been bidding so enthusiastically just moments before. Angelina had been looking at the woman when the gentleman spoke drawing her attention back to him.

Angelina smiled politely and shook his hand, "it's a pleasure Mr Callaghan and Miss Protencia" she then released his hand but for some reason she sensed a feeling of loss and was drawn to his eyes, it was only for the briefest moment but still it was there. Shaking herself mentally she smiled at the couple "You bid very admirably Miss Protencia."

Malachi Callaghan then ordered the woman to hand Angelina the amulet, and it was an order not a polite phrased request or off handed comment it really sounded like an order. Angelina looked to the woman's eyes but she did not seem to mind, again Angelina thought it was very strange but who was she to judge.

Angelina held out her hand and received the amulet from Bridget. It was a fairly heavy piece because of the length of chain and the stone, she weighed it in her hand moving it up and down in the air slightly while it rested on her palm "Yes Mr Callaghan, I am a novice collector of antiques" her eyes remained on the amulet, Angelina did not wish to explain about her fascination or dealings with the occult so left it at that.

Almost instantly Angelina felt a warmth flow from the amulet's stone through her fingers and up her arm, like she was slowly sliding her hand into warm water. She looked at the ruby stone and the beading along the chain, it reminded her of a rosary. It was a lovely piece, it was then she turned it over and discovered the inscribed text along the gold back.

She traced her finger lightly over it "lujuria talis" she thought it was Latin but could not be certain until she got home and could check through some of her books. Her body tingled and she realized she must be holding up the couple and although she hated to let the piece go, Angelina went to hand it back to the gentleman "Thank you for letting me look at it Mr Callaghan , it is an exquisite piece."

Bridget made no move to respond, her blank expression remained as such even when she was addressed. Malachi squeezed her hip and Bridget's mouth wrinkled into a smile, she nodded and then the blank slate returned to her face, giving Angelina no more than that.

Malachi watched intently as the crimson haired woman's fingers curled around the amulet, he needed to see, needed to know something of which he was uncertain. He paid no mind to her response of being a novice collector; what did he care? He was far more interested in the power of the amulet and the passion driven intrigue of the woman standing before him. He held a quaint need to possess her for unknown reasons, a passion to do so just like that of the amulet she held between her slender digits. He wanted...no, he needed both of them.

The sparkle of the amulet's power glittered in his eyes, it was unlike the evil flow of his hold on it or the dull nothingness when it entwined in Bridget's fingers. It was unique to her. To Angelina. His face twisted into something between grim evil and annoyance and that of a discovery as she turned it around to view the inscription on the back.

The slate of his face slid back into place, the charming smile lingered there as he took it back from her and instantly squeezed Bridget's hip as the gem started to burn his hand. Her hand slid out and he dropped it into her palm, squeezing her again so that she might move to drop it into her purse.

"You are quite welcome Miss DuPont. Perhaps we might discuss the piece sometime and that of others if I have your interest?" He asked her smoothly, a plan carving out before his eyes, "I am a varied collector myself and while my sweet Bridget here only has her interest in pretty things, I do like to discuss art and such items with others. I find the history behind them fascinating..."

He let the last word drift on the air between them as he took Angelina's hand in almost slow motion and pressed an old fashioned and gentleman like kiss to the back of it. His mouth curled into that of a winning smile, hoping his hypnotic charm might entice her to meet with him. He knew his powers were admittedly great and unique but unpredictable when up against another powerful being. Thankfully, this witch was a theoretical practitioner but he could never be too careful.

"What say you, Miss DuPont?" He asked her as he seemingly reluctantly released her hand and flipped a card out from his jacket pocket, offering it to the scarlet beauty.

Malachi Callaghan seem insistent on her accepting his invitation, it made Angelina pause for a moment but taking his card she smiled figuring he was just a proud collector and thought he may be able to impress her, she still stood rather motionless. Feeling for him as it seemed nothing much impressed his fiancée, Angelina nodded and thanked him "I would love to see your collection sometime, Thank you Mr Callaghan but please you must call me Angelina."

Angelina then fished around in her bag for a card of her own, she then handed it to Mr Callaghan. The card was a purple business card with a silver triple moon across the front and the words A Charmed Life embossed above in the same silver, the light played of the silver making it sparkle and seem magical. Angelina's name and other details were under the logo. "This is my shop, perhaps you can call me to arrange a time" she didn't want to push and figured he would most likely loose her card and thus let her off the hook, paintings really held no interest for her unless they were occult orientated but they seemed to be few and far between but she wanted to be polite.

She tucked his card into her hand back and then smiled at the couple "Well I must be going, thank you so much for allowing me to view your piece" she then tucked the book into her back and headed for the door of the estate, it was such a beautiful old home. Truly a shame it was being sold off like scrap. Once' outside Angelina put on a pair of dark glasses and took out her cell phone and began to call a tax.

Angelina walked up and down the pavement outside the estate waiting for someone to answer the phone at the taxi company. In her head she just kept repeating "lujuria talis" so that she did not forget it. Once she got off the phone she would enter it into her cell.

Malachi inclined his head respectfully and watched her exit, there would be nothing but to wait and hope she called. He idly wondered if she knew of the power the amulet had in her hands, of the demonic rebuke it had given him but passed the thought quickly as he left the house with Bridget still on his arm.

"Wrap the amulet in your scarf and hand it to me, Bridget." He told her as he slid into his vehicle, holding his hand out expectantly. When the amulet dropped into his palm; securely wrapped, he made eye contact with the woman once again.

"You will go home. You will not remember me. You went to the auction and found it a worthless waste of time because you liked nothing they had to offer. When you wake up in the morning, you'll reevaluate your worthless life as nothing more than a facade and let that creep into your consciousness. You will follow a path of sin quickly and then you will take a knife and slit your wrists once it becomes too much. But, you will first send me all details of your sinful existance first." He pressed a card into her hand, "You'll consider it an obligation but you won't know why Bridget. Now go."

Bridget mindlessly turned on her heel and made her way towards her own car. Malachi knew she'd be dead within the month and the possible loose end would vanish from the world. He placed the wrapped amulet in the centre console of the car, the wheels screamed as he sped out of the parking lot and headed home.

Later that night, Malachi sat at his dining room table, the scarf lying beneath the amulet which was splayed out for his eyes as he drank straight from a scotch bottle and studied the inscription on the back. He'd long since given up trying to touch it, it burned his skin every time and his finger bore the blistered truth of this. His mind turned to Angelina DuPont over and over again, why did he need her and what made her something he needed to possess? She was attractive but certainly not astoundingly so.

He drained the bottle and threw it at the wall without looking, it smashed upon impact and shards scattered over the floor, "She'll be mine. She'll do this. Call, damn it!" He glared at the phone, willing it to ring, wanting it to be her and wondering whether or not she felt this pull too.

Angelina decided she defiantly needed to give in and get a car, as she slid into the back of the taxi and tried to avoid what ever was stuck to the seat and tried to untangle her feet from what ever was on the floor this became all to clear. Scrunching up her nose at the unidentifiable oder and mumbling her home address to the driver. Angelina then clamped a hand over her nose and mouth and began to try and wind down the window to let in fresh air, of course it jammed about an inch from the top.

The drive across town was a blur, Angelina never really concentrated on anything outside the window it all just flowed past as her mind focused on Malachi Callaghan. His eyes had been so intense almost black and there was just something about him that compelled curiosity and interest. Maybe it was just that he had seemed so hostile and then almost too friendly and eager to meet with her again.

It was all unnerving but still the way he had smiled and......get a grip Angelina, she mentally kicked herself. She was now going weak kneed over some man she knew nothing about that was already engaged. Wouldn't mother be pleased she thought and then leaned forward to pay the driver before getting out in front of A Charmed Life.

The rain had started again so she quickly dashed across the pavement and fumbled her way into the store as quickly as possible, once inside she let out a sigh and then locked the door behind her before making her way upstairs,. Once there she took off her jacket and put down her back and headed for the bathroom she needed a bath after being in that cab.

Once the tub was full and frothed with bubbles and candles flickered around the room, Angelina settled into the tub with a loud moan of pleasure. The warm water was heavenly as it caressed her skin and washed away the grime of the day. She relaxed back in the tub and closed her eyes........

Those dark eyes penetrated her subconscious and drew her in, she reached out and caressed his face before that smile melted away the rest of her resolve and his lips claimed hers, she surrendered to the kiss.....

Angelina moaned and then opened her eyes, she needed to get a hold of herself. Why was he so fascinating? She had met attractive men before, she had even dated a few over the years but something about Malachi Callaghan had imprinted on Angelina. So much so that now she was soaking in her bath fantasizing about him kissing her.

She let out a groan of frustration and then began to shave her legs, she must be more desperate to get laid then she thought. Sure it had been about 8 month since she had been tangled in the disaster with Damien, but she hadn't realized she was so in need of a little male attention that she would lust after any random man.

Later that night Angelina curled up in bed with a few old texts and began looking for anything to do with "lujuria talis" she also flicked through a few websites, searching for anything about the amulet. She had been at it for about 30 minutes when she got a chill down her spine and she shivered. It was like someone was watching her or the room suddenly felt ominous, looking to the window she saw nothing so went back to work pushing the sensation from her mind.

Malachi calmed himself down and started to calculate everything he would need to lure Angelina properly. He could not invite her to his loft, it didn't scream wealth and power; she'd expect such things of him. His mind turned to Bridget Protencia once again, she'd be the perfect target for this, she was wealthy and lived in a nice mansion if her mind was of any indication. He went to bed with a satisfied smile, Malachi had a plan in place and when Angelina called to meet with him (he was certain she would call), he would have the perfect home already set up.

Malachi awoke the next morning and diverted his landline to his cell phone. Following another emptied flask of whiskey, he got into his car and headed straight over to Bridget's house. It was as he'd thought, a winding driveway of some length to a large mansion of many bedrooms, wrought iron gates and fencing lined the property and gave the house in the distance an almost ominous appearance.

He pressed the buzzer, her voice answered, "Yes?"

Malachi smirked, she was hung over; he could hear it in her voice, "Bridget, we met yesterday at the auction. May I come in? It's Malachi, Malachi Callaghan."

Bridget fumbled with the intercom, the past day was fuzzy and she stuttered her response uncertainly, "Mal...Malachi, uh yes of course. I remember." She lied, embarrased that she couldn't remember the man and didn't want him to think of her as a drunk, "Come on up, please."

Bridget eyed the porsche as the gates swung open, Malachi drove up to the house, straightening his jacket as he pulled up. Bridget was out front in minutes to greet him personally; as though she hoped seeing him would jog her memory; it didn't.

"Malachi, so good to see you." She leaned in to kiss his cheek but the moment her lips touched his skin, she got an electric jolt.

"It certainly is, Bridget." Malachi's eyes glinted and Bridget felt overcome by his power, he grabbed her hair and dipped her, his mouth sealing over hers in a searing kiss; he claimed her completely.

When he released her, she swayed precariously and looked at him, "Sir..." She breathed out.

"That's right Bridget. Eyes down. Tell me where your fiance is." Malachi ordered her.

Her head dropped to stare at the concrete beneath her, "He's away for a week on a business trip, Sir."

"Excellent. I'm staying for the week. You'll tell no one but Angelina when she comes over that I am your fiance. Is that clear?" Malachi gripped her arm and spun her around, entering the mansion with her.

"Yes Sir." Bridget said shortly.

"You may retain your personality Bridget, I have no desire to live with a robot for a week but you will obey my every command, you will comply without question. Understood?" Malachi asked her.

"Yes Sir." She smiled, "Thank you Sir." The real Bridget was struggling beneath his drowning hypnotic powers, unable to surface.

"Good." Malachi shut the front door with a cruel smile, "Send your servants home Bridget, you don't have any this week."

'Angelina didn't know what time it was when she had fallen asleep but her eyes were sore and achy when she opened them and blinked against the sun coming through her window. She had the pages of a research book pressed to her face and her laptop was tossed onto the bed and she laid at an odd angle that made her body scream to be stretched. Obviously she had fallen asleep looking for information on the amulet "lujuria talis" she whispered as she sat up and pulled the book away from her face.

She just knew there was something special about the amulet, she had felt it radiate through her body yesterday as she examined it. Either that or it was the gaze of Malachi Callaghan that had affected her so much, she stretched her arms up above her head and arched her back "let it go Angel" she whispered using the nickname her grandmother had bestowed on her for as long as she could remember.

Getting out of bed Angelina pulled on her black satin dressing gown, flicked her long red hair over her shoulder and made her way to the kitchen, she was still a little stiff but mostly she was hungry. It was strange if she didn't know better she would swear she had indulged in fantastic sex last night, between her thighs throbbed a little and she was so hungry but had that after glow surrounding her, despite her aches and weariness she was in a wonderful mood. What ever she had dreamed last night had obviously been amazing and she couldn't stop smiling as she fished around the fridge and found ingredients for an omelet.

After a hearty breakfast Angelina cleaned up and headed back into her bed room to get dressed, it was a beautiful sunny day and since her shop was closed today Angelina decided she was going to head into the city and find something fun to do. Maybe she would visit a gallery or do some shopping, maybe a trip to the museum. She just had this urge to do something, she had a burning desire to get out of her apartment today.

This was different for Angelina, she normally spent her days off in pursuit of items for her collection or reading and restoring her collection of occult artifacts. Occasionally with friends but mostly she was addicted to her collection and always found herself surrounded by books and strange looking items.

Dressed in a peacock blue vintage dress and a pair of calf high boots in deep chocolate, Angelina fashioned her bright red hair into a braid down her back and pined a red flower near her right ear. She picked up a chocolate cardigan and back pack and headed off on her adventure. She caught a bus towards the city, but she really had no idea where she was heading to she just felt she needed to do something today.

Angelina ended up in the rich, trust fund gilded end of town. She didn't know what had drawn her here as this was far from the bohemian section of the city that she normally ventured to and felt comfortable in, but here she was. Stepping off the bus she was in awe of the boutiques with designer clothes and café's that looked like she couldn't even afford a glass of water in. She took a deep breath and walked along the side walk taking in all the opulent window displays.

She was admiring a pair of ruby earrings in one of the store windows, when suddenly she felt a tingle through her body and she wondered what Malachi Callaghan would think of them. Angelina imagined herself in an elegant gown, her hair swept up and stylish and these beautiful ruby chandelier style earrings dangling from her ears and drawing attention to the creamy complexion of her neck. Would he think she was beautiful, would he be tempted to kiss her neck "ooh angel you got it bad".
