Amnesia (I hope I spelled that right...)

So I was thinking of a story along these lines.

A woman wakes up in the hospital with no memory of who she is or what her life is like.

There are many posibilities that I was toying with...one could be that she's taken home and sort of re-trained sexually to be what the husband has always dreamed of.

Another could be that she gets to re-experience all sorts of sex, as though she was a born- again virgin.

any other ideas?

Anyway: Do you know the movie "Overboard" ? Goldie Hawn has an accident, and after that, she suffers from amnesia.

Before the accident, she was a rich bitch. But then, when she suffers from amnesia, she can't remember. So Kurt Russell, tells her, that she is his wife ....

As for a Lit Story: Maybe there is this woman: She is frigid, she never liked sex - she even hated it.
Now, she suffers from amnesia (after an accident), and her husband tells her about his life before the amnesia: "Don't you remember, darling ? Before the accident, you loved to wear lingerie. And you loved to give blowjobs. And do you remember, how much you loved anal sex ?"

So maybe she could be converted into a sexpot.

Ultimate power over someone is a nice fantasy but doesn't make for a very realistic story.

You and this doctor and these other strangers claim you're my husband. I admit I can't remember anything, and you've got photos with us both smiling, so it must be true: but to me you're a stranger. I don't like the idea of all this weird sex you're proposing, not with a stranger. Well, would you?

Overcoming that, getting her to consent to more than dutiful spousal sex, making it to hard to do the moulding, that might be interesting to see.

I wouldn't call it stealing.

It is only the same basic idea, but nothing else. I think, when it comes to Amnesia, there is not much room for new stuff.

I mean, there is this person who cannot remember, and another person tells this person what has happened before the amnesia ... either the truth, or a few lies ...

Suddenly for some reason she loses her memory and her husband has to teach her to do a lot of things again. I don't know the different types of amnesia, but I know that there's one where you forget how to do tasks and writing and such...

So this husband all of a sudden has a wife that doesn't know she doesn't like sex. He sees this as an opportunity to start over and get her to enjoy it...

Exactly! See, that is the kind of thing I'm trying for. I don't know that I'll ever get this story started though. Sadly no one really seemed to want to write this = (

Another movie to consider is "A long kiss goodnight", perhaps not what you had in mind..

I guess this is about ten metric tons of contrived, but how about she wakes naked in a sleazy hotel room with no memory and a serious head wound. Someone apparently left her for dead. (also a fire was started that she was lucky to escape)

It turns out she is the wife of an upstanding millionare. and also she slowly learns what a horrible person she (apparently) used to be. The husband seems nice, but he is the prime suspect for trying to kill her. Also there is evidence that she withdrew a huge sum of money that is now missing.

On top of this, what fragmented facts she does begin to recall about herself does not match with the wife that is described to her. (more in the nice trailer trash direction). A further clue is needle tracks on her arms etc.

What actually happened was this: The nasty wife had a twin sister that was a hooker and all, but over all a more likable character. The nasty wife took out a lot of money and intended to use her sister's body to prevent anyone looking for her.

Anyway, it ends with the millionare and the 'wife' celebrating a 2nd wedding, which everyone else thinks is quaint.

..I can't guaruntee that I am not reciting some made-for-tv tale verbatum, but I don't remember it if I am.

I think that it would be even better if instead of her going from ice cube to nympho, the story could be about how she wakes up and can't remember a thing about her previous life or her sexlife with her husband, and the only one memory she has is that of a mind-blowing orgasm with another man - and then she finds out that that man is her brother-in-law..!

I like it! Not the BIL thing, but the fact that the stolid, cold fish facade has deep cracks. Is that memory a fantasy, or a suppressed memory of the past that the amnesia has allowed to surface? Is this something that happened, or something she wants to happen? W/O the weight of a past to obscure her feelings she can examine them for what they are, not mould them to the way they "should" be.

Sometimes, ignorance can be liberating.

not really erotic, but something similar happened to me.

I was in this store, together with my sister, and I saw this nice girl. She passed me and said "Hello, nice to see you" directly to me, like you would say to an old buddy.

The problem was: The girl looked nice - but I really can't say if I knew her. I looked at my sister and said "Damn, I don't know who she is ..." and my sister just laughed.
