America's military is the finest in the world

The ongoing debate about female troops will re-start in ...

... 3 -- 2 -- 1...GO!

"It's a complex problem because it involves a culture change," says Maj. Gen. Gary Patton, the head of the Pentagon's Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office. "We have to see a culture change where those victims of this crime are taken seriously at their unit level by every member of their unit, so you don't see the divisiveness and the lack of support and the feeling of isolation that these victims feel."

you have a culture of violence protected by the troops from within. yes, you have to help the victims. of course, but how do you stop making rapists out of our men in uniform?

Here?

I didn't click on the report. I'm just here to help.

Although, I'm sure it depends on the definitions being used.

After recently reading an article in Rolling Stone on this topic, I would never recommend military service to any female I know.

When I was 17 and contemplating the end of high school and the beginning of the rest of my life, I started looking towards a career in the military. My older brother had been in the Navy six or seven years at the time; he told me, under no uncertain circumstances, do not to join the military. He was very adamant, almost to the point of being a jackass about it.

I did not join. Reading this article makes me wonder if he knew more of what goes on behind the scenes than I did, and that's why he did his best to keep me out of it.

Didn't they still have sails back then?

:nana:

This is why you don't pussify the military and allow women to serve.

It's also why you don't allow them to be in the work force or go to a co-ed college.

Hell, don't let them out of the kitchen.

Good point, and since the military only takes college-aged people and kicks them out at 22, it's very pertinent, too.

Oh good lord.

The average at a university is 25.
Community college; 29

The marines?
37% at 18-21
48% are 22-30

Yes, the correlation works.

Dam you are stupid.

25% of College females are raped or sexually assaulted.

young males, young females, together is the factor. Not Military.

Weapons-grade DERP as usual.

The link that VatAss provided explains that one out of four girls/women are raped or sexually assaulted from the age of 14 until they finish college.

That is a far cry from VatAss' claim that they're all raped in college.

But hey, we're talking about the unholy byproduct who carries DNA from both Ishmael and a woman too stupid to abort Ishspawn....
