Some people say that the mass slaughter of Native Americans throughout the 19th century was as bad if not worse than Hitler's holocaust.

Literally MILLIONS of them were killed, including women and children.

By today's standards and laws, this would be considered genocide as well as grievous and atrocious crimes against humanity. What was the then US government's reasoning for such heartless mass murder committed mostly against innocents and unarmed non-combatants?

We even employed a primitive form of biological warfare by giving Indians blankets that were infected with the smallpox virus.

Adolf Hitler used the genocide of the American Indians as an example. Evil deeds man.

He read western novels as a kid, but his fucked up mind twisted the stories around.

I don't think it's a good idea to compare genocides (and yes, it was one).American government just wanted to get the indians under control, and a lot of the slaughter happened as war crime.

Hitlers holocaust still is the worst, as it got the main and official order to exterminate ALL jews, even those who never knew they were (just because of anatomical similarities).
