Ft worth Tea Party,

I got an invite from several of my friends to the one in Ft. Worth.

They are usually a hoot and I helped them protest the Hilary National healthcare bus tour awhile back. I love to go shooting with them too. Free ammo and sometimes don't have to clean my gun.

So I am going to go hang out. Free beer!

Hugs and Licks

Hello and welcome...I am a bit surprised but pleased that someone, especially here got an invite...let us know how it goes if you attend?

Amicus...:)

"Earl Grey, no sugar no milk.." Must be a Liberal thing, like Starbucks as Jodie Foster in "Contact" and Capt. Picard in Star Trek TNG, both preferred it.

for almost 15 yrs I've had a bumper sticker on each of my cars that says "Time for another Tea Party". I think it's long overdue!

Wings..."Band on the Run"? Okay...have and love the song...never payed that much attention to the lyric...but....oh, well...

I'm writing my state representatives asking them to raise taxes, so you won't see me at one of your whiney-crybaby tea parties. Where were you guys during the last 8 years when Bush was running up the deficit? Grow up and take responsibility for your choices!

ETA: Until the tax protesters figure out a way to pay down the Bush deficit without using taxes to do so, they're just complaining but offering no solutions. I saw nothing in the article about what specific programs they would like to eliminate. Perhaps a more constructive approach would be to build a consensus with the American people on what services should be done away with. I don't think eliminating public education is going to fly, so be realistic, folks. It's one thing to squeal like stuck pigs, it's another to actually contribute to the dialogue in a constructive way. And it's totally irresponsible to ignore the Bush deficit as if it's someone else's problem.

I confronted a local newspaper editor about taxes. I told him that if he loves taxes so much, write the goddamned government a check.

Right now, this minute, Americans give government 1/2 of the money they earn...actually its 55%.
