- The Republican Party's approval rating drops to an all-time low of just 26% while 49% view them negatively.

- In contrast the Democratic party has a 44% approval rating with 35% disapproving.

- Furthermore, America strongly backs every single gun control measure Obama has put out there.

- Obama's approval rating is 53% positive 43% negative

- A laughable 6% of Americans have a "very favorable" view of the Republican party compared to 17% viewing Democrats that way

- Just 19% of Americans approve of how the Republican Party handled the fiscal negotiations.

- Hillary's approval rating is at 58% with only 25% disapproving. Her approval in her current job is at a staggering 69%.

- John Boehner has an 18% approval rating and a 37% disapproval rating.

- Harry Reid has a 16% approval rating but only 28% disapproval. Apparently America has no idea who he is.

- Pelosi has a 26% approval, 37% disapproval

- McConnel has a 12% approval rating, 22% disapproval

- The Tea Party has a 23% approval rating, 47% disapproval. That's is lowest rating ever.

So what does the Republican Party do? Re-elect Rience Priebus for RNC chair and give Boehner another two years... While also shitting on their most electable potential candidate Chris Christie. You guys have some dark times ahead. Very, very dark.

Such a shame. In their current makeup, the Pubes, are absolute comedy. To see them metastasize into anything more viable won't be nearly as funny.

And for how much longer can we just keep printing money to cover our debt? Another down grade is coming and those 47% are not going to be able to buy much with that government check their getting, and not talking about refund checks either.

Seeing how we've managed just fine for the last seventy years I imagine we can go for quite a bit longer. Debt isn't really that big a deal unless you let it be.

This country was founded on debt. We have borrowed from our birth. Lets worry more about job growth and less about the debt.

The biggest worry with debt is that interest rates are gonna skyrocket and catch you with your pants down.

Only one thing, the odds of interest rates for the most attractive debtor in the world skyrocketing during recession or weak growth is about as likely as getting struck by lightning.

And when you got good growth, you can afford it.

Werd up yo. Increasing the money supply when the economy is depressed, that is, high unemployment, excessive capacity in manufacturing, etc etc, is not inflationary. Now is the perfect time to borrow to stimulate the economy because interest rates are at an all time low.

Austerity has only exasperated the situation in Europe. Tax cuts on the wealthy does not create jobs. The problem with our current economy is that people are not spending. Cutting rich people's taxes will not cure this problem.

I hope you do not harbor any illusions, any more, that the GOP will ever do anything about any of that. It is not the party of fiscal responsibility.

What kingorfeo said.

The pubes think their problem is marketing their brand and not the brand itself. If they continue down this path, they will get crushed in 2014 and 2016. You would think there would be at least one right wing strategist with the sense to see this. But no. Let the tea baggers continue their folly. We can rejoice.

I love watching Michael Steele as a talking head on tv, especially on liberal shows, where he's invited as the token republican to explain how the GOP is thinking. He's just like "Yeah, I don't know what they've been smokin' either."

Not to mention exacerbated. :)

But your points are well taken. There's never been a better time to be in debt. The "debt crisis" is another manufactured crisis to push an anti-government agenda.

Either I cannot spell or that damn autocorrect on iPad ---I will assume the error is mine - thx for fixing it :)

And no opinion poll on the economy, cool.
