Christina Langford Johnson, Dawna Langford and two of Dawna's children, aged 11 and three, were also killed
The victims belong to the LeBaron family - a breakaway Mormon community that settled in the hills of northern Mexico decades ago
At the time of the attack, 17 of the family members were traveling in three cars from the settlement
According to relatives, drug cartel gunman opened fire and torched vehicles as the victims burned to death
Mexico's top security official Alfonso Durazo said on Tuesday cartel gunmen may have mistaken the group's large SUVs for rival gangs
Nine of the family members were slaughtered in the massacre and one child was still missing
Six children were wounded in the attack and five have since been transferred to hospitals in Phoenix, Arizona

Mine too, but unlike the Saudis, Syrians and the Kurds they are American citizens. 14,603 people murdered in Mexico in the first 180 days of this year, 81 a day. The Mexican government has clearly lost control of their country we have tons of military resources right on the border in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona. It might be time to locate and decapitate the leadership of the cartels, take out their drug manufacturing complexes.

They can go a bunch of different ways. Could be overt polygamy that Mormon management deems bad for press, and so they're shunned, to much darker stuff (e.g. Elizabeth Smart's kidnappers).

The killers might have seen something they didn't like and, instead of dealing with it like rational human beings, employed a Delporable philosophy and slaughtered them instead.

This is a vast Isis like terrorist organization engaged in smuggling drugs and people across our borders. It's engaged in human trafficking and infiltrating terrorists and gang members into the United States. It didn't help when Obama was arming it either. Trump has a chance to rectify the situation, after all it is a real American national security issue. We don't need to invade Mexico, but we can help the Mexican government kill them on a scale big enough to make a difference.
