According to bin Laden, a barrel of oil today should cost $144. Based on that calculation, he said, the Americans have stolen $36 trillion from Muslims and they owe each member of the faith $30,000.

I'm in Australia and we're paying around 89cents to 95cents per litre. Still too much!

Us aussies suffer coz of the value of our dollar. It sucks. Its only worth about 50c compared to a US $1.

I'm surprised more Americans aren't holidaying here in Oz. With that kind of exchange your getting double!!!

i saw a survey once of how cheap gas is by the gallon compared to other things. Bottled water, based on the price of one liter was 4-5 dollars a gallon, White Out (liquid paper) was a hundred dollars a gallon or so, when you figure that each bottle is only 3/4 of an ounce.

His problem is that he hates capitalism where Supply and Demand rule the market. If they dried up the supply, then the price would go up, but then we'd conserve more and demand would drop, causing a surplus and the price would go back down. OBL needs to go to college and study Economics in a free society.

Hmh last time I talked to my dad, who has a masters in geology and has around 20 some years of experience in the oil business, he said the real price should be around 50 dollars a barrel. This was a few years ago and of course being in the oil business he wants it higher, but still the price of oil should be higher then it is. It should just not be 100 some dollars higher.
