I'm interested in exploring the posibility of writing an erotic fantasy story about a white woman taken captive by a compassionate American Indian in the 1800s.

Any comments?

Would there be an interest in such a story?

There has to be more than 2 dozen romance novels with a set-up like that, so you could research their sales figures and see exactly how much interest there is in them, if you wanted.

It would make for a really good romance novel, though posting such a thing on lit would place it in two spots, romance section or non consent. Romance far as I know does not get that many readers, I've not posted there yet. Non consent will leave some really funny comments and get you alot of readers, though the voting seems to tend for low unless you follow an exact formula.

In other words post it to literotica if you want, though don't expect much in the way of feedback.

Very helpful...:)

I try on occassion. ;)

So quick question, why does it have to be a white woman captured by indians? Why not reverse it and it is a brave captured by whitey, or an indian woman captured by whitey?

Not saying you should change your idea, just saying why go with where everyone else has been. ;)

Or it could go in the fantasy section if there was any native american gods or magic involved.

There is a John Norman (author of the "Gor" books) novel very much along those lines called "Ghost Dance." I haven't read it, but it probably involves a lot of B/D, based on Norman's other works. You might check that out for ideas......Carney

I am loving this.

Or whether a native warrior's son is captured by the Americans, whose daughter (who is engaged to someone else) is deeply attracted to him.
