Doug Ford might just be crazier than …and nearly as crooked as DJ….

I was hoping he’d threaten to turn off the electricity…. If alberta ontario quebec labrador new brunswick and nova scotia all turned off the oil gas hydro hydro hydro gasoline and natural gas…about 35% of the us population would be in the dark and paying 6 bux a gallon.

Time for canada to punch dj in the nose, hard.

The IRS collects around 3 Trillion/year.

The USA imports around 3 Trillion in goods each year.

So, for Tariffs to replace Income Tax, the USA needs to put a $100 % Tariff on Everything it Imports.

American Consumers will obviously cut back on imported goods if they double in price.

And if companies all start manufacturing in the USA, tariff revenue trends towards zero, and your $100 Nikes will cost what… $1,000?… your $100 tires will cost… $700?

So higher prices, no irs and low tariff income… then what?

Sounds like living in China or Russia!

Agreed, and it may be coming to that....though babyboomer50 doubts gas would hit $5.00 a gallon, never mind it might hit $6.00
