One of the reasons I'm glad Lit doesn't pay authors; it would attract parasites and their bots.

On one hand this is one of several ways people have gamed that shitty program and I always hope they'll ditch it.

On the other hand anything like this brings them closer to what they really want-no longer allowing indy published material.

I have no interest in publishing my stories outside of here, but as a general reader and consumer of digital media, it just reinforces my own scepticism that the majority of things that are 'trending' online are manipulated for a result one way or the other.
