Brad Michaels was a white educated male from Michigan working towards his Graduate degree in wildlife biology. He stood up, looking at an impressive 500 foot waterfall, deep in the Amazon basin.
He quickly put the waterfall out of his mind, and pulled out his map and compass. He was here on a two-week study trip, and had been lost from his group for an hour... maybe long. The batteries in his $10 sport watch were dead, and he'd lost track of time.
Finally deciding on the way to go, he started walking in a new direction. However, after 15 minutes, or so, he stopped and looked back. He couldn't see anything, but something was following him.
He shrugged, and kept walking. But soon, he felt the presence behind him again. Reruns of Lost and old B-movies about cannibals played through his mind, and he took off running, faster and faster, in his hiking boots. Suddenly, he looked up and saw a bizarre bird flying towards him. He shouted, and slipped, and felt something hit him from behind.
He woke several hours later, and started to come to...
*** Ladies, jump right in. ***
