Amateur Photo Challenge Idea

I was wondering if anyone else would be interested in this idea and if it was doable here at Literotica.

Every month there could be a challenge/theme posted for those who like having their pics taken ie:

1) Giddy Up Cowboys and Cowgirls (all pics sent in for the challenge would include something western)

2) Pepsi Machine challenge (you must take a pic nude, or almost nude, standing next to a pepsi machine... here i'm thinkin something like Jade standing there in her sexy black lacey thing hehehe)

etc etc etc ... I'm sure you guys could help Laurel and Manu come up with millions of great ideas for the challenges

so what do you think? coming from me (someone who doesn't submit pics) I think i could definitely have fun with this

Well, if I knew of a Pepsi machine that happened to be out in the middle of freaking no where I would be willing to make that photo happen, however, I live in a city and I just don't thinkt he cops would "appreciate" the art of it all! LOL

Perhaps on my next road trip though?

I suck. I don't have a digital camera, and as yet my scanner remains to be repaired, so any pics of me would have to be taken with my webcam which only has a 6 foot cable. Also, I'm very self conscious about my appearance, so you'd never see my face.

Yes I remember that scene in the movie. But I asure you, there is no connection between the dance and that scene LOL. Do you think I'm crazy, I don't want a machine to bash my head in with a coke can LOL.

But I do think that Jade would be able to get some kind of response out of it. Poor machine, it'll blow its' wirering before it even get's a chance to show appreciation. Don't you think Thumbie?

How about some themes that won't get someone arrested!

There would have to be a deadline, and maybe voting. But also, take them down after the voting is over? To save on Laurel's bandwidth. Oh, and we would need to have a judge or two. Not Laurel, unless she wants to. Don't want to overwork her! Poor thing.

Yes tehre sould be a time limit and the judgingg sould be done by all of us.. the same way the stories are judged.. and then when the time limit os up. the owners of the pics can make the decision to keep the pics on the site in the amature pic section or have them removed for the site... just like the stories.. but what will the winners get a as a prize?? and I would suggest the time limmit be one or two months for judging.. for each catagory... just my suggestion no one has to listen to it.. but it is there anyway.. and Yes I would like to see Jade do that to the pepsi machine.. and I think she could too

Too bad I'm not a Photographer tho or had such beautiful subjects to take pics of but o'well Life Goes on

The prize could be to set the next challenge.

Whoever does the best western theme, gets to specify the theme for the next contest.

Let the pictures collect votes for two weeks, and give the winner two weeks to set the next challenge with a two week deadline for submitting pics.

The only problem I see, is that unlike a story where the author can remain anonymous to avoaid a popularity contest, picture contests are likely to turn into popularity contests.

Egos will get bruised.

hey you know what?? thats OK! lots of people don't show their face on pics the post on the net. its really a good ideal not to show your 'identity' anyway. and when u get pics developed u can ask that they be put on disc .. that way u don't have to worry about the scanner mess

Hey I lived on the road for about 5 years, once in a hotel room I went out to get a coke and the dam door clicked closed behind me...well I was in my underwear.....I was glad no one was in the lobby when I showed up and they ask me if I had any Id on me....WTF...I was in my gutchies...No I don't have any Id.......Now that would have been a pic.
