Am I wrong to be pissed?

Morning y'all!

This weekend we went out of town...a mini vacation to the lake. We had some friends with us that we have never vacationed with before. I got pissed at them. Let me set this up for you:

The last night there, their son clogged the toilet. They said they would fix it. Well, there was no plunger and it was late so I assumed they would get up in the morning and go buy a plunger and fix it. So, we all get up...there was 5 people in my family and 4 in theirs...I go to pee and the toilet is not fixed yet. So, I say something to the wife...she says her hubby said "fuck it" let the cabin people deal with it. Right there I'm fucking pissed! I couldn't believe that they weren't going to fix it. Not only was it inconsiderate of the 5 other people that they were vactioning with but also disrespectful to the people we rented the cabin from. Then...omg, I freaked out on them for this...they had the nerve to start to yell at my 3yo for flushing the toilet after he peed. OMG!!!! I was like...hold the fuck up...don't you dare yell at my 3yo for making a mess that you should have fixed in the goddamn first place!!!! I was fucking pissed...still am! They are acting like it was no big deal.

Am I wrong for being pissed? Wouldn't you be? I'll never vacation with these people again!

I have found the cutiosy is a failing thing today. I see people mess things up and expect other to fix it. Yes I believe you have a right to be upset. I would have reacted the same way.

sometimes you do not know people until scenarios like that.
It is one thing for that to happen in their own home. They also said they would fix it....that makes it twice as worse....just to blow it off when some many others are involved is indecent.

Thats what I thought! It was very rude and inconsiderate. I would never do something like...if I break it.. I fix it. If I lose it...I replace it.

Earlier in the weekend we had talked about doing it again next summer. But now, I don't fucking think so! I am so pissed about this I won't have anything to do with them for a while now.

Having worked many years in the service industry, I can't tell you how many people think it's OK to just leave any mess "for the help". Try managing a hotel sometime. It will shake your faith in people.

We had tossed around the idea of buying some property and building a small cabin with these people...but now, no fucking way. There is no way I would share anything again with these people. They had no consideration for the other people they were vacationing with and no respect for someone elses property.

OMG, hatara...the look on my face said it all, let me tell you!!! All she got out was..."E, look at the mess you..." Hold it right there, bitch...don't you fucking dare say another word to my child! They both saw the look on my face, saw my hands shaking...He went up and got a plunger right after that.
