Am I the only two fingered typist at this site???

I sure wish that I had taken a typing course back when I was in high school. It sure would have come in handy today with the advent of computer keyboards. I do pretty well with two fingers but I'll never be as good as the kids in grade school today who are born with a keyboard and a joystick in their hands.

I type for a living, not that you can tell. Hmm, my gradeschooler still two finger type, but they are really good with a mouse. At least they don't change all of my settings anymore. One of them at one point renamed my explorer "Cartoon network"

Heh. I used to be a 45-50 word per minute typer back in high school. I think I've stayed the same speed since then. Probably a few more mistakes though, and I always don't use proper grammer either.

I recently graduated to 3 fingers. At this rate by the time I'm 60 years old I should be at 5. Woohoo!

Guru uses six fingers...his thumbs, index and middles...and still types about 50 wpm. *grins*


I use them all, and can keep up...mostly.

I use about four but I've gotten pretty damn fast with them. Sometimes I don't even look at the keyboard

Two fingers? I use all of my fingers to type, but I never took a lesson in my life. I have become proficient at typing with one hand though.

Two fingers? That's twice as many as I use.

I taught myself to type when I started writing, though it wasn't something I deliberately worked at; it just kind of happened. I have no idea how fast I am, but probably not any faster than most people.
