...Who hates the TV show Big Bang Theory?

Fuck that show is terrible to me. And because I am a brilliant, sciency fucker, my friends always say things like, "You would love that show." And then I have to get rid of them as friends for saying something so shitty to me. That's about the most offensive thing a person can say to me.

The same goes with Family Guy. It really hurts my feelings when my friends think I would like that show.

I'm sorry this happened to you.

The closest analogy that I can think of is when a friend says you look just like X - and then they show you a photo of X, and X is hideous.

nope. i think it sucks. chuck lorre should die in a painful and embarrassing manner. think david carradine, but with more suffering. like fire or hungry rats going to town on his ballsack.

What is wrong with you people?! Sheldon is the epitome of sexy geekdom!

We can't be friends anymore.

That happens to me constantly. :(

I've never seen the show, or Family Guy.

Odd thought today, was in this long line at Universal Studios for the Simpsons ride and there's a mini cartoon to watch while waiting and I thought to myself, "I've never seen a whole episode of the Simpsons."

It's brilliant. Don't listen to Pmann, Mona.

It's so strange that we are discussing this because I worked late tonight and got home and just got settled and turned on the TV in the background and it's on TBS right now.

I've always heard it was a GREAT show. I will make time to watch it sometime for sure. That and How I Met Your Mother.

I've never watched it. But, I've also never heard a bad review of it.

I swear. Just watch the fucking show. It's painful. I would rather fuck a vagina made of ants and spiders.

I have tried watching it so many times. Because so many people like that show. But so many people also like Two and a Half Men, so that's a poor reason to choose a show.

The show has a laugh track. That's 90% certainty that the show is going to suck. They are basically saying, "Our jokes suck donkey dong. If we don't supply you with clues on where the jokes are, you won't know."

It's the Nickelback of TV.

Lots of my friends call my youngest son "Sheldon Jr." I'm like, "Why not just call him Mini Cooper?"

Thank you, I'll be here all week.

I agree about any show using a laugh track these days, but do you have any real reasons for hating the show with the fiery passion of a billion suns?

[AHEM!!!]
Duuuuuuude, proofread your post. For the love of GOD. Gotta take something out of there.

No bazinga here.

Also. I disagree mightily on Big Bang. But I hate Two and a Half Men with the fire of a thousand suns.

Yes. I just do not like it. At all. In any way. And people tell me all the time lately I should like it.

People are always, "Oh, you're a brilliant, good-looking science type who enjoys a good laugh. You should like this show."

And I try to watch it and I don't like it.

Oh, and I like to bitch about things.

I'm going to start bitching about things if you don't edit my fucking name out of your post.

I avoided How I Met Your Mother for years, until it I was introduced to it on Netflix and started marathoning episodes. It gets compared to Friends, but the scripts for HIMYM are a lot more interesting and clever and the characters are not nearly as annoying.

I don't like it either. I don't harbor hate for it deep in my heart, but I don't think it's all that funny. I tend not to like network TV comedies, even ones that are wildly popular.
