Am I being paranoid?

I heard about all the story theft going on, and out of curiosity did a google search on my name along with a couple of my stories.

What I entered was this:

scheherazade_79 +"The Rhythm of the Heart"

Three hits came up - two for Lit, and one for some other website. So I clicked on the other website... I can't make head or tail of it. It seems to be made up of links. Despite what Google said, I couldn't find either search phrase on the page. I scanned to the bottom and they did have links to erotic stories... which all seemed to link back to Adultfriendfinder.com.

Am I being paranoid here or do I have cause for concern?

Many sites rip links to stories on lit as part of their come on. If the site is full of links, it's more than likely your story hasn't been truly pirated so much as used. That said, if the site is pay, they are making money off your work.

You rbest bet is to PM Laurel, tell her what you have found and ask her what she thinks you should do. She is agressive in defending lit authors and has managed so far to take care of any problem I have heard of. She has personally taken care of several for me.

Thanks Colly Annoying thing is, I can't even find the damn story. I've actually joined Adult Friendfinder so I can browse through the stories to look for mine, but don't seem to be getting anywhere. It's starting to do my head in, because when something like this happens I can't give up until I've found what I'm looking for....
