Does anyone else watch this show? It's really so much better with RDJr. on it and it is such a shame that tonight was his last show. I think they'll bring him back though once he gets through rehab and all.

I also love Vonda Shephard's music.

But, the show always makes me cry.. even when I'm not premenstrual! hehe. It is so much about wanting love and almost getting it but ending up alone.

Did I mention that I'll miss RDJr? Damn but he's a fine looking man.

The Shebabe loves it.....

I had to work late and didn't eat all day. Got home, wolfed down an entire chicken and passed out before it came on.

The Shebabe told me she cried and cried last night.

I have an admission

I have never, ever watched Ally McBeal. Nope, not once.

I have watched the show since it first started and really enjoy it. However, I missed last night since I was out shoveling snow and forgot to tape it. WHAT HAPPENED?

Alley cried some, then they cried some more, that Chinese girl was mean, then more crying.

That is all I remember, I was crying myself.

tony..

Larry's (RDJ) son wanted to hire Ally to be his lawyer so he could sue his parents for emotional distress. End result? No suit, but Larry left to go back Denver(?) to be near his son. It was really sad. At the very end when she was walking home.. she came upon the steps to her apt. and he'd built a snowman and tagged a pin to it's chest:

"I'll be back" .....

I've always liked Robert Downey and he was great in this part... I really think they'll bring him back.

There was a lot of other stuff on the show too.. but this was the most meaningful.

Sparky & Coltrane? Did you check out what I'd give you for V-Day under the V-Day Test thread?

An ENTIRE chicken? Damn sparks.

Tell Shebabe that I'm with her on that. sniff

Thanks for the update. It was much better than Ambrosious's update. I think the chicken went to his head. ;)

I think sparky should have sent that chicken to Ally ... she could use a good meal.

I used to watch it but I got sick of all the whining, bitching and moaning, I mean come on she's supposed to be a career woman and all she really is, is an air head....what a crappy roll model that is for any young girls out there.

Well Vix, it was my only meal of the day...

And NYC is great for cheap eats, if you know where to look.

It's all supply and demand - I'll bet there's a couple of million chickens eaten here per day. Maybe more.

So, a completely cooked to roticery perfection, at about 2lbs - for only $1.19 - and a half pound tub of potato salad for another seventy cents - man (I mean girl) I was in 7th Heaven.

Soul food, just like down south - and it should'a fed two - too.

But I was starving.

Oinky Sparky...but I love that you are so real....cuz that is what guys really do....

:p

oh c'mon people

now this is television not reality. Of COURSE she couldn't be a real lawyer but you have to admit that it is entertaining. It's mainly about relationships anyway.. most TV is.. hell most of life is. And when have you ever known women to NOT bitch about life's little zingers? She (Ally) just happens to get "zung" a lot.

Sparky.. I love rotisserie chicken and 'tater salad but I can fry up some chicken that you'd smack your grandma over. hehe

I have friend that really loves this show, but I have never watched it.

I don't watch too many weekly network shows. On TV it's mostly news, sports, documentaries, and movies for me.

I do like to watch TV Land and the Cartoon network sometimes.

I adore Peter MacNicol. I would watch him no matter what he's in (and have).

The rest of the cast is...ehh. RDJr made it MUCH BETTER to watch, but yeah, I get tired of Ally's "long thoughtful walks." I like the more silly episodes ;-) They usually feature Peter more.

I stopped watching Ally this season, after RDjr came on. I guess I just got bored with it. I agree with the others, I miss the wacky stuff. My favorite show was where Ally danced across the street to "Tell Him" and got everybody at the crosswalk to dance with her. Ahh, the good old days.

i am a big fan of RDjr. He's pretty dang hot. i have jsut moved and haven't gotten cable yet so i can't get any channels so I am missing all my favorite shows. I have missed the last 2 episodes of Ally. The show that had me crying buckets was when Billy died.. my poor husband thought I had lost my mind. I think RDjr will be back. calista Flockhardt apparently just adopted a baby boy and I have also read that she and RDjr may be dating....interesting. As far as him going into drug rehab...ummm I fugure since he has already been there and done that he is just a person who likes his drugs. Honestly, if he isn't hurting anyone else then he should be left alone because no matter what if he wants to do coke and all that then he is gonna do it no matter how much rehab he takes part in..mopo.
