I'm leaving for four days, and in an effort to keep people from going to war while I'm gone I'll toss out a new discussion topic. Well, it's not so new, but I haven't seen anyone post about it yet...

How about that girl-girl kiss on Ally McBeal? I don't even watch the show, but happened to catch it at a friend's house and WHOOOOAA! Was that HOT or what? I'm fairly straight (slightly bi-curious, but aren't we all, hehe), and it got me all hot & bothered...

And what does is say about TV today that they'd allow that on prime time? Do you think the fact that both characters were hetero made a difference as far as getting it past the censors? Who is that gorgeous Asian woman?

(And pullease, I don't want to hear the "Calista Flockhart is an anorexic" crap. It's impolite to call someone a fat cow, so why is it okay to poke fun at a thin person? Beauty can take all forms - not just plump and not just thin - so quit being so damn narrow-minded.. 'nuf said..)

Never miss an episode! Hands down, my favorite show, period. Never fails to fuck my mind in several capacities. Apparently, you missed the car wash episode a week earlier Laurel - topped that kiss for sure (but the tension there was nice, eh?).

Someone asked Kip to do one of his sexual parodies on that - GREAT idea, eh! Be CERTAIN to get 'Ling' down and dirty, my brother. You know she's got it all pent up in there prepared to explode. Give Richard the flood! I have no doubt Alley would creep up behind that shapely ass and do some XXploring. Yup.

Should this win the award for MOST SURPRISING OLD THREAD NOT TO HAVE ATTRACTED A MASS OF REPLIES ?

I'm glad someone's...

mentioned that show.

I've just discovered it and I think it's the most entertaining, innotative piece of TV that's come out of America for a long tome.

Very clever!. I particularly like the night club scenes that tie various parts of the storyline of each episode together.

And it always at some place in an episode makes me laugh out loud. Saw an episode two days ago when Ali, her best friend, the secretary who knows everything and Lin the newcomer (to me anyway) had a fight in the office. The build up was brilliant and the fight itself hilarious.

Great show.

I've got hours of good viewing ahead of me. Oh bliss!

I was going to start a thread on it myself but now you've brought up this old one it save me the trouble!

:D

ok i post semi seriously i havent seen the kiss but sometimes it annoys me when these shows just throw in those one off kisses in

i saw a buffy episode (yes yes i know) ... but there was about 4 or 5 kiss'es in the one episode between the two girlfriends and it seemed very natural

Unbelievably I have never watched an episode......

Try it out. They're running it on cable.

The other way they write it which I like are the actual court cases, not headline grabbers but ordinary stuff with twists in them.

And of course there's the lawyer "the strange little man" who has to take his 'moment' to distract the opposition...

I'm raving about it I know. But give it a try for a couple of episodes until you catch on what it's all about...

:D

I should have added before that being a lawyer myself I am quite staggered that I have never gotten round to watching it !

Myself, I didn't watch it for years, although I knew it was around, because I just assumed it was another childish sitcom that our TV is swamped with from across the pond.

My mistake.

Glad I've discovered it now though...

:D

And there I was trying to cut down on the cable re-runs that I watch !

(what part of London, p_p ? Crystal Palace here)

And those kisses where just as passionate as the male/female ones.

Just outside...Brentford.

Now you've let on where you're from expect sexy-girl to ask whether you support Palace!

She's their biggest fan, well on Lit anyway...

:D

If that is she herself in her AV, I will proclaim that I am a devout Palace fan if it would bring me closer to her.

Shame the terraces have gone - would have been nice to press up against her in a packed Whitehorse Road stand one cold Wednesday night in a game against Grimsby.

That said, would any part of Selhurst Park get packed for a game against Grimsby ?

Palace v Grimsby interesting !?!?!?

Or are you talking 'bout Ally Mac, Innocent ?

Tara and Willow had the most natural, and healthy relationship I have seen protrayed on TV in A LONG time. That just made this weeks episode all the more horrible.

Poor Will, doesn't Buffy suffer enough for the whole group? Why do they keep punishing her??

sigh...ok back to McBeal talk.

dannyboy no thats not me in my av sorry to disapoint but yes i do live nearby to crystal palace and i support them i've seen them a couple of times this season :)

I used to watch that show but I got sick of it.........I mean come on heres a smart sexy woman with a great job and some really good friends but all you ever hear her do is bitch and moan about how shitty life is, in the end the show just made me feel bored and depressed.

Ally Macbeal would be a lot better sans Ally

A fiver says Fish and John get their own sitcom a la Fraiser....
