Despite his fame, I believe he is still underrated as a fine musician.

Even though I was born little more then a year before Lennon died, I was practically raised on the Beatles and other classic rock greats. Let's face it, folks... the Beatles opened the door for every major rock band of the 60's - which in turn inspired the innovations in rock & roll that followed in the seventies, eighties, and ninties.

God bless Ringo and Paul - they have lost a good friend in George.

And God help us if somebody as talented as John, George, Ringo, and Paul don't come around soon - I can handle Limp Bizkit, NSync and Eminem for only so long...
