I woke up to this at 5 a.m. and it is now 1:09 p.m.

I haven't seen any other threads concerning this

The Beatles have been all over the radio and Tube...

Goodbye to another one of the better influences in my life

Peel Away the Layers
(by Then)

All the Years in a Life,
The Sum of every day
and every question

The wall no one penetrates,
Years in a life
Growing Sronger against attack

And somewhere
A light will shine,
Showing a way to
Peel Away the Layers

When the calmest of Breezes blow...
When the Dark
is too a Friend,
Out of the Night
Shines a light
The Storm will help to
Peel Away the Layers

In attempted prayers
and nods to gods never found
The strength
Is only found inside
to carry on,
And to Pass on
wut has been found
'Till no more layers
Will ever again be found...

Peel Away the Layers:cool:

Bye for now, George

Yes, after such a struggle his soul is finally free.

A toast to the "youngest" Beatle; a wonderful humanitarian and a living instrument to my own spirituality.

Despite his fame, I believe he is still underrated as a fine musician.

Cheers!

3:44 p.m.

And I'm putting on my first Beatle music

I give you everything I've got
For a little Peace of Mind

In a Tapestry
Why would I only see blue
When the Blue iz gone?

Smiles beyond Miles

Empty to Fill

Norwegians would
if ever I knew one

It takes a lifetime
unless you are Mozart

If I rhymed
would you see the sun?

If I didn't
Would we be far apart?

Worlds and words
to say an idea

A life to give
My heart to save

A soul to find in the mist,
I might have just
Missed it

Seekers will Find

No doubt about it

All Night Long

Train

Tracks to say a name
Bendz to feel
Utterly the same

Wut wuz it you said?
Never, never stop

I see the light
Just around the Corner
And I'll soon be home

RainFall in the Night
Sheds won't help you now
But look for the Dawn

But Look for the Dawn

The Key to Your Heart

Your whispers

Tell me in my Dreams
I can sleep in the Air

Things you tell no one
We'll see

Ago iz gone
Here I am

For real

The man said it best

All you Need Is Love

Rest well George
You'll be Missed

Across the Water

I've seen the Rainbows
I've seen the Deserts

I've seen the Wine
I've seen the Women

But I've never seen You

How will you know me
when I find you?

Your dirt
Against mine?

But I've never seen You

Hiding away in a Corner

How will I know
when I find you?

George and John must be jammin' right about now.....:D

I'm not sure about that. The word that I heard was that George & John were trying to put together a nice lil jam session but Elvis tried to steal the show and the "Rat Pack" were having a drinking contest and getting rowdy.

Actually, it was John and Paul who wrote that but we get your point.

And Time

Nowhere iz nowhere
unless You've
been There

Wut iz a Penny
when you're
Running with the Devil?

Say I, Say you

Save your Family
Pack your god Away
Will you find me
in the Darkened Mist?

Say I, Say You

Okay, we get it. John and George are jamming in the Yellow Submarine now.
Now let's get on with our lives.

Voices Wandering theGreat Plains

Things forever taught,
Spirits caught in the Wind,
Breath upon the Wing,
High upon the Hill

Drums of a Heartbeat

The Chimes sing a Calling,
The Clouds move with my Shadows,
Home iz a Dream of Blue,
Tomorrow has been here Before

Drums of a Heartbeat

Feathers lighter than Snow,
Sleepers walking the Night,
Dreamers in the Waking Light,
My heart iz pounding

Drums of a Heartbeat

Adding a little "Caw" for George...

Even though I was born little more then a year before Lennon died, I was practically raised on the Beatles and other classic rock greats. Let's face it, folks... the Beatles opened the door for every major rock band of the 60's - which in turn inspired the innovations in rock & roll that followed in the seventies, eighties, and ninties.

God bless Ringo and Paul - they have lost a good friend in George.

And God help us if somebody as talented as John, George, Ringo, and Paul don't come around soon - I can handle Limp Bizkit, NSync and Eminem for only so long... ;)

I Won't Look Back

But how hard I try
Will you remember
the Dreams

Layed down
and now Gone
I forget

A chorus of Angels singing
My heart explodes

Would I fly
Shadows of another
Night

Reeds
A home to build

The Back of Your Head iz Not What I Expected

You have an outie
So I flip you over

You have an Outie
So I flip you over

Pop me in the Eye

You have an outie
So I flip you over
