So who are you? Which characters do you think you most closely resemble? And no, it doesn't, and probably won't be, just one character. every one is an individual so an amalgam is the norm.

Me? I have to admit that's there's more 'Doc Martin' in me than I'd care to fess up to. Throw in the contradictory irreverence of a 'Hawkeye Pierce' with a tad of 'Micheal Western.' I'd say throw them in a Mixmaster but that;s not entirely true. The various aspects bubble to the surface at different times, more often than not at the most inappropriate times...........back to 'Doc Martin.'

Personal identity? I have my own take on that, but I wouldn't write it down here and risk being trolled lol.
But as to social identity:

Until a year or so ago, I felt that there were elements in our global political landscape that could be identified with those from dystopian movies and books. And many others must have felt that too, as shown by their popularity even among middle age audience like myself.

Can't say that I'm in any way like them , but I sometimes liked to imagine being one of their lead female protagonists (strong independent characters in search of answers and a sense of meaning)

But after picking up a few things from the GB and especially with the latest shocking turn of events with Brexit, Trumpism, the rise of nationalistic parties
versus Syriza, versus Eu and NATO, versus the complex situation in the Middke East,
- the heck do I know any longer where we are all headed, and how the world will look like.
