Damnit... why is this?

Am I going to have to move out there, or what?

I'm bringing draaah with me, if I do.

The cool kids do not belong in Chicago.

There's somebody else I'd like you to bring out from Chicago too, if you have room. :)

The west is best!

I'm not *in* Chicago...but if I'm going there to pick up draaah, I'm sure we can find room for one more.

Oh... Pipercatt lives up thattaways, as well.

I may need to rent a van.

Get me out of here. You can tie me to the roof. I'll use up less space and get a cheap thrill that way.

I need to go too. My heart will always be in my home State.

Must.

Get.

Back.

CA is overcrowded enough.... hope you're movin' to the mountains... least you can breathe up there...

Only the cities are crowded and even that's the BIG cities. Still alot of breathing room here. Just stay in one place and no one gets hurt. I need clear roadways for my health's sake. ;)

Sillyman, still trying to hitch a ride out here?

Nopers... just means a detour on my way to Chicago, is all.

Anybody else?

:D

There's no way I want to live in a place where the fuckin ground can't keep still....I'll take the high crime rate and daily brusque behavior of the east any day....

lived in four different states and visited california multiple times, but there is nothing that compares to uptown new orleans on a sunday night. when i die thats what heaven is gonna be like. but with free drinks and more girls.

I have to disagree with you, sugah.

East Coast 4 LIFE:eek: :D

Let's all move to Cali and live together in a big commune with lots of web servers.

Maybe we can even find a nice location by a Fjord?

Okay, okay... so all the cool kids *don't* actually live in Cali.

It just happens to be that there is one out there who needs to get his ass to TX.

:D

'nuff said.

(But you have to admit... there are *quite a few* cool kids in Cali. lol)

the thing is that because of our view of california we all tend to associate californians with the beach and the music and the laid-back-surfer style, etc.

kids in cali aren't any "cooler" than anywhere else in the country. except montana. nobody's cool there.

*ahem*

Re-read my post just above yours, sweets. ;)

Besides, I'm just kidding.

Everyone knows that all the cool kids are actually in Texas. :D

Just got back from a two week bike trip down there. Parts of it are nice, like Napa valley, the coast from the bay Area up, the northern part of the state from Redding upwards is nice. The Sierras are nice (I specifically did not call them the Sierra Nevadas just to bug Cym ;) ).

I don't really care that much for the East bay area that much, or for the cities, and the one time I was in LA I wasn't impressed, but Newport Beach in that area was nice. I need rolling hills with trees (real trees, not scrub brush), not brown grass. I hear the Monterey is nice, and maybe next time I ride down I will go south along Hwy 1 instead of north.

When I went up 128 from the Bay Area to get onto H1, I really like that area, and the ride on H1 was great. There were numerous B&Bs and small inns along the coast, many in very scenic spots. That seemed to be about the only commerce and settlement there besides the few houses. It would make for a nice romantic drive/ride, then stop at an inn with a private hot tub, scenic view, and fuck our brains out.
