Democrats Spun Biden’s Classified Docs As ‘Six Items,’ But Special Counsel Report Reveals It Was 300-Plus

BY: MARGOT CLEVELAND
FEBRUARY 09, 2024

We now know, though, that the “six items” and the “personally handwritten notes” consisted of hundreds of top secret or classified documents, including notebooks filled with Joe Biden’s summary of classified briefings. A quick count from the special counsel’s appendix reveals the government recovered more than 300 pages of top-secret and classified documents. The FBI also seized a hard drive, but the appendix lacks any details on its contents.

The top-secret and classified documents, as well as many others marked confidential, were discovered at the Penn Biden Center, the University of Delaware, and Biden’s Delaware home, including in his garage. According to the special counsel report, the material included notes from classified briefings that discussed “U.S. intelligence sources, methods … capabilities,” and activities, as well as the activities of foreign intelligence services. Other notes discussed “U.S. military programs and capabilities, foreign military programs and capabilities,” and “plans and capabilities of foreign terrorist organizations.”

The quantity and significance of the recovered material far exceed what Biden’s lawyers and their media accomplices had led Americans to believe — that it was but a few documents inadvertently retained. The special counsel’s report also reveals that Biden knew about at least some of the classified documents as early as 2017, when he told the ghostwriter of his book about discovering them. Yet when asked about Trump’s retention of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago, Biden asked rhetorically how “anyone could be that irresponsible.”

“What data was in there that may compromise sources and methods?” Biden added about the materials Trump retained.

Thank you for this!
The American public needs to know. I'm sure a special counsel will be appointed and after a long and thorough investigation into these 300 classified materials, and with counsel having direct access to question the president, the appropriate charges will be levied against Biden.

As DA suggested in another thread:

(And I’m paraphrasing):

These right wing imbeciles are making such fools of THEMSELVES, that it’s kinda spoiling the fun for those of US who take joy in mocking them.

(I’m still gonna keep mocking them)

It only goes to show how much the WH has been lying. And how much the Left has been willingly swallowing.

So you’re claiming Joe refused to give back classified information and actively obstructed government efforts to retrieve the material?

The metal gymnastics it takes for you to come to these insane conclusions must be exhausting.

What charges?!?! POTUS has immunity, remember?

Immunity is OK, but wouldn’t you like to be blessed with David Copperfield like abilities to make the classified declassified with just your mind?

All I'm saying is there is a different standard for Joe Biden than there is for Donald Trump and that the prosecutor is purposely bending the law. Take the following from page 8 of the report for instance:

Twice in 2017, Mr. Biden visited the National Archives SCIF to review his classified notecards while writing his book. Yet he kept his notebooks, which also contained classified information, in unlocked drawers at home. He had strong motivations to do so and to ignore the rules for properly handling the classified information in his notebooks. He consulted the notebooks liberally during hours of discussions with his ghostwriter and viewed them as highly private and valued possessions with which he was unwilling to part. We do not, however, believe this evidence would meet the government's burden at trial~particularly the requirement to prove that Mr. Biden "intended" to do something the law forbids.

My point here is simple the statute, 18 USC 793f, does not require a finding of "intent' only "gross negligence, and or simple "knowledge" So, as a Democrat, like Hillary, he slides:

18 USC 793 (f)

"Whoever, being entrusted with or having lawful possession or control of any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, note, or information, relating to the national defense, (1) through gross negligence permits the same to be removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of his trust, or to be lost, stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, or (2) having knowledge that the same has been illegally removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of its trust, or lost, or stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, and fails to make prompt report of such loss, theft, abstraction, or destruction to his superior officer—
Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both."

Donald trump was indicted for obstructing his investigation. Joe Biden cooperated fully with the authorities.

Trump is being prosecuted under the Espionage Act 18 USC 793. That is the big one. Under that act, there is no carve out for "cooperation."

Trump charged under Espionage Act – which covers a lot more crimes than just spying

Which is total horse shit but this is how the left rolls.

Worse, there's no requirement to help the government gather evidence to use to convict you. In fact, there's the 5th Amendment which says you can't be forced to do that.

Apparently asserting your rights is a crime to the Left.

lol what a take. The only reason he was charged was for his obstruction. Which was proven by the fact that a warrant was needed to go in and get the missing files.

The evidence to back up the charge also includes video evidence....how far down this road of blind loyalty are you willing to tread?

So it's a crime to require the government to get a warrant to search your stuff?

Wow, who knew...
