Well, the other three ideas are DOA, so I'll try this one. This is not so much based purely on the film by Oliver Stone, as the historical love triangle of Alexander, his queen Roxane, and his male lover Hephaestion. IF you are offended by the idea of 2 men having sex with each other....do NOT read this thread. The role of Roxane is open, but only for a female player who can stomach the polyamorous, bisexual triad here. Knowledge of history is helpful, particularly the history of the ancient Macedonian Empire built by Alexander the Great.
Some realism is good here, and jealousy can be worked in, as long as there is no unrealistic aspect, such as divorce. The pregnancy of Roxane will not be dealt with here, but it is a historical reality. Think of it as the elephant in the room not being discussed. Elephants are especially appropriate imagery for this thread. LOL.
Try to behave as they would have behaved in the 4th century BCE, more or less. The other male role is reserved for now, but can be opened up later if the player I have in mind declines it. I will play Alexander, of course.
