His 25 million followers were aghast, as earplugs are a fashion accessory only worn by, gasp, "beta males"!

Unbelievable.....The last 22 seconds of the Ohio State-Oregon game was a masterclass in clock mismanagement.Crazy ending to that game.
Receiver caught the ball and went out of bounds for an apparent first down, BUT there was "offensive pass interference" called on him (seldom called but legit here). Fifteen yard penalty puts Ohio State out of field goal range (2nd down and 25 yards) AND the entire Ohio State coaching staff is unaware that the fecking clock was still running due to the penalty. QB finally realizes clock is running and chucks it out of bounds. They finally called time out with only 10 seconds left (!!!). Ohio State incomplete pass on 3rd and 25 but the NCAA directs the refs to call a "defensive substitution penalty"
to give Ohio State one final chance at a Hail Mary (3rd and 20 from the Oregon 38). There are six seconds left.Then the sixth year senior QB, who had more "big game experience" (per the announcers) than ANY quarterback in America, took the snap in an empty backfield, saw every single receiver was in double coverage, and decided to bootleg up the middle of the wide-open field (40+ yards away from the goal line after the drop back???) and he opts to lope 12 yards downfield as time expires and decides to slide to the turf to avoid injury?
Clock is at :00 and QB has a confused look on his face. Mental error of the year!
Literally everything had to go wrong for Ohio State for Oregon to win.....and it did.
