Airport pat down

My last 4 flights, going through the security check point, the body scan has flagged my groin region. They always ask if I want to go to a private room but I tell to just do it a get it over with. Usually you have to at least buy me dinner to touch me the way they do.

I’d like to believe that my package is what setting off the body scan but since it hasn’t changed much in the last 30 years I’m betting on the new underwear. I switched to Jockey briefs about a year and a half before the first of these 4 flights. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have a friend with cerebral palsy that always gets patted down, but she also has 38 Es.

Next time it happens, let them do the pat down, then ask what triggered it. They will probably let you know.
