AI-Art for Illustrated Stories

Hi,
I'm writing a few stories accompanied by AI-Generated realistic looking pictures.

I'm curious to know if anybody has tried this and if it's even allowed on Lit. Are there any rules that I need to know of? Examples attached.

These are generated using Stable Diffusion and it does not feature a real person.

You can't link off site in a story. Only literotica.com links are allowed in stories.

You can't use AI art within your story, or posted to the forums. You are only allowed to use it as a series cover*
You can put them on your blog etc, but you cannot link that from your story. I believe you may be allowed one link in your profile (check if it meets the rules for your one link allowed), but you can't refer to that in your story. Eg, you can't say "see my profile for the link... etc"


*For some reason AI is not only allowed, but encouraged for series covers, despite being banned everywhere else.

To avoid having cover art rejected, authors may want to look into AI Artwork Generators for potential ways to generate unique copyright-free Series Cover Art. You might be able to post the pictures in a thread here on Literotica and then link to them in your story. That *might* get around the AI in stories and outside links ban. It's not in keeping with the spirit of the site rules, though. I haven't cared to try this yet.

I don't think so. Recently I've seen threads here in AH and the visual artists corner which were trying to share AI generated images of their characters and they were all locked or had the images deleted. I understand the images in this thread haven't been deleted, but I wouldn't recommend this as an option.

I think cover images are the only places where it's allowed (and they're encouraged for that for some reason)

No one looks at them? They don't display by default, you have to go looking for them, and the rules governing their content (no nudity) are much stricter. I don't see a reason to go to the trouble, but please don't let my opinion stop you if it makes you happy to try.

No, I'm not doing AI covers, I can draw six fingered hands all on my own. just commenting that's the only place I know of it's allowed (and insinuating I think it's odd ai is encouraged for covers)
