This thread is to kick off a new challenge. Ask questions, share ideas, announce participation, or share anything else relevant to the challenge here! (Laurel will create the post on the story side shortly.) NOTICE THAT ALL ENTRIES MUST BE WRITTEN BY A HUMAN BEING!

AI A NEW ERA 2024

Artificial Intelligence is more complicated than anything the human race has ever created. How does the creation manipulate the creator [IN BED]? This anthology brings together stories of AI and it's sexual effects on the intelligent apes confused enough to think they control it.

Open to all authors!

Stories may cover the orgasmic as well as the horrifically orgasmic aspects of AI. Let your creative juices flow!
Open for submissions: DOY 11010110 (aka August 1, 2024 Day Of Year)
Posting continuously; closes on September 1, 2024
Begin the title to your submission with "AI Era:"; copy and paste the text ‘AI: A New Era’ in the Note to Admin field. Please use "AI A New Era" as a story tag.

LITEROTICA RULES APPLY; machines and machine learning will not be an excuse to bypass them. "No sexual activity involving bestiality (you can write stories about supernatural beasts like ghosts, unicorns, werewolves, etc.) or underage persons will be considered. For the purposes of this site, the minimum legal age is 18. This site does not publish stories, articles, essays, or other material supporting, encouraging, or defending child abuse and/or exploitation." Finally, all entries must be written by a human being. Please see this FAQ.

The general theme is that artificial intelligence pushes the boundaries of human experience. From robot love stories such as ‘QC Testing’ to a dystopian AI world such as ‘Medusa’! Don’t be afraid of brain chips as, “...way to eventually merge humans with AI.” Unless you read ‘Rodgering’! Anyways, come and take a dive into murky coding. Who’s to say where you’ll resurface?

Fortuitously, I just finished a story in which AI use is key. Unfortunately, I wrote it for the Nude Day contest, so it will run before this challenge.

That hasn't been a problem thus far. It was fun except for the part that there really wasn't a way to counteract AI use in the situation.
Feel free to toss these problems out to the other followers on this thread--I can think of one possible solution, but am curious what others think first. @Duleigh @Trionyx

Use of AI is like trying to pin down copyright violations. You have to continuously apply whack-a-mole and you still can't prevent it being used. In my story, the protagonist is blackmailed into going deeper into nudism on the Internet by AI being applied whatever is done to try to prevent it. To remain plausible, the story cannot satisfactorily resolve that.

Sounds like a good way to drive someone crazy!

Drinking challenge: ask AI for drink recipe...if it isn't toxic, drink it. Then tell us how awesome it was!

"give me a drink recipe with whiskey, bourbon, rum, vodka, red wine, lemonade, non-alcoholic beer, soda water, or something else"
Sure, here's a recipe for a Whiskey Sour:

Ingredients:
- 2 oz whiskey
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- Ice
- Lemon wheel for garnish

Instructions:
1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Add the whiskey, lemon juice, and simple syrup to the shaker.
3. Shake well until chilled.
4. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice.
5. Garnish with a lemon wheel.
6. Enjoy your delicious Whiskey Sour!

:/ I don't have any lemon juice

Maybe off topic, but the best AI based novel I've ever read is Daemon by Daniel Suarez. I should read it again, maybe it will give me some inspiration for this.

LOL, this is a first for me, I have two bullet pointed concepts that fit the bill! Don't think that's going to happen too often :)

I'm still working out if I like the plot that's rolling in the back of my head: AI assisted gambling addiction morphs.

I had a sudden fit of inspiration last night and rattled off a perfect one for this, thinking I'd missed the contest and would just post it on its own. But alas, I only have to wait till August.

AI Era: only sexual activities between humans and AI, or even when AI is involved to help (or not) relationship between her and him?
And, Virtual Reality is a branch of AI in my language, is it in Literotica too? Thanks in advance

However you want to include it; and yes Virtual Reality would be AI.

Just don't use it to write your story!

Would you believe that I just knocked out a story that would fit in well with this contest?
Would you believe that it's somehow not a "Demon Seed" knockoff? Although...

But, if I include a story featuring a convincingly-written AI, is there any way for the AI which checks submitted stories for AI-written content to know that the AI in my story was not written by an AI, only written to look like it was?

Heck, would even a real human know?

Prompt
was this written by an AI? "But, if I include a story featuring a convincingly-written AI, is there any way for the AI which checks submitted stories for AI-written content to know that the AI in my story was not written by an AI, only written to look like it was?"

Response
What a delightfully meta question!

While AI-written content has made significant progress, it's still not perfect, and there are ways to detect AI-generated text. However, it's challenging to fool an AI that checks for AI-written content with a convincing story about an AI-written text.

Here are a few reasons why:

1. **Pattern recognition**: AI systems trained to detect AI-written content are designed to recognize patterns in language that are characteristic of machine-generated text. These patterns might include things like repetitive sentence structures, overly formal language, or an unusual distribution of words.
2. **Linguistic features**: AI-written content often lacks certain linguistic features that are typical of human-written text, such as nuances in tone, idioms, and colloquialisms. An AI system checking for AI-written content might be able to detect these differences.
3. **Contextual understanding**: An AI system checking for AI-written content is likely to have been trained on a vast amount of text data and can analyze the context in which the text is being used. It might be able to identify inconsistencies or anomalies that suggest the text is not written by a human.

That being said, it's not impossible to write a story about an AI-written text that could potentially deceive an AI checker. Here are some strategies you could use:

1. **Focus on the narrative**: Instead of trying to create a convincing AI-written story, focus on crafting a compelling narrative that explores the themes and ideas you want to convey. A well-written story can be more engaging than a perfectly crafted piece of AI-generated text.
2. **Use nuanced language**: Try to incorporate subtle variations in tone, idioms, and colloquialisms that would be difficult for an AI system to replicate. This can make your story more relatable and human-like.
3. **Make it ambiguous**: Leave some aspects of the story open to interpretation, allowing the reader (and potentially the AI checker) to fill in the gaps with their own understanding. This can make it harder for an AI system to pinpoint exactly what's "off" about the story.

Ultimately, while it's possible to create a story that might deceive an AI checker, it's unlikely you'll be able to fool a highly sophisticated system designed specifically for this purpose.

I'll just do what I always do, botch my grammar and syntax so badly that no AI could possibly create something so repulsive as whatever it is that I produce.

Thank you for tagging me bettie!!:) I’m gonna try to continue (maybe even finish?) the story I’ve been writing for the previous years of this challenge. I took a long break from writing due to life busyness, but I’ve consistently felt guilty for leaving my readers hanging because they seemed to like the story so much, so I’m really gonna try and power through and get it out. The challenges always help motivate me so fingers crossed! 🤞

Great news!

While you're at it, any chance of some more Noel and Margo? Pretty please? With cream on top?
