This morning it dawned bright and clear with the temperature climbing quickly.
This afternoon I came in from doing some work around the place and saw the temperature was right at 93°F with a humidity of 75%. Might be the reason I was sweating a bit. (That turns into a heat index of 120°F or 49°C.) No problem, I can and do deal with it.
This evening our usual T-Storms started in. Here they started nice and quiet but slowly built up. They started about two hours ago with the pitter patter of a light rain on the roof. Now the sky is strobing, the power has been knocked out, (Thanks Power Company who wants to increase our rates once again.) and we have had 2.36 inches of rain. (The power outage hasn't affected the phones lines and I'm working on my laptops battery with a Hurricane Lamp for light.)
Oh and the rain is still pouring down.
I don't think I'll need to water the flowers or the lawn this evening.
This is something I'm more than used to, this is usual Florida Summer weather. I'll be dealing with this for the next several months.
Tomorrow morning of course it will dawn clear and hot once again.
