It’s Friday and the regular Fox news guy, Brit Hume is off and replaced by Geraldo Rivera whom I cannot stand. CNN has Lou Dobbs, even more revolting, so whilst thinking about Shanglan and our ongoing discussion, talking to my ripening tomato’s, I went surfing for some distraction or at least some pleasant noise and stumbled on “Medicine Man”, with Sean Connery and a delightful actress, Lorraine Bracco.
She got a little high on a native hallucinogen and bubbled her way into my thoughts with her amusing antics and gave me the idea for this thread.
I can still picture Judy Garland, singing and dancing her way down the yellow brick road and Barbra Streisand in “Funny Girl”, and Audrey Hepburn in “My Fair Lady”, “Oim a good girl, Oi yam!” and Roman Holiday, and Goldie Hawn in just about everything.
I can picture nymphets and fairies dancing in fields of flowers and a woman in a bath amidst the trappings of comfort and profound relaxation
, and a hundred other examples of the freedom and spontaneity of young girls and ‘woman’ in general as they delight the hearts and souls of we baser males.
I thank you woman and girl child for the bright smile and shining eyes; for the fluid motion of your movements and the gentle music of your voice.
Ah, Woman…how I love thee…
Amicus the incurable romantic…
