Tomorrow's the last full day of school and the kids are "feeling their oats". Today's lunchroom exchange:

"Ms. Glynndah, come over here. I need to ask you something."

"What is it?"

"Jacob wants to kiss you really, really bad."

"Sorry. If he was going to kiss me really, really good, I might consider it. I don't need a kiss from a really, really bad kisser."

Jacob's response: throwing part of his sandwich at his "friend" and a simple, yet eloquent gesture.

I'm not sure I can survive another day of the little darlings. :cathappy:

Last full day of school..........already?????

Ye gods, schools in UK don't break up for the summer until around 20th July.........

:D :D :D

My daughter's last day of nursery school after three years is Friday. I'm sure I will be crying. It's been a wonderful three years there, and I know she won't be getting that kind of attention in public school.

Last day here in the county my daughter lives in is Friday. The last day in the county I live in is the following Wednesday. And they are all out of school tomorrow for 'Election Day'.

Last day in Ol' Scotland is the 29th of June, I think. We break up two to three weeks before England.

Awards Day was today (the last full day was this past Friday).

I'm very proud of spidey: he received the Six Flags Reader Award (complete with a free ticket to Six Flags), A-B Honor Roll for the year, and Most Improved Student for his class (went from middle of the class in reading at the beginning of the year, to #1 in his class by the end).

Now....just to put up with him here 24/7 for the summer.
