AH Thread Archiving - Discussion Thread

Gawd. That was what occurred to me the instant I saw the first archive thread. You don't get to post, she says. But those things will come back like the corpse in Deliverance, only over and over.

Whew. The mechanics of the idea need to be thought through.

The plan is to mainly catalogue searched for threads.

I had bumped some old threads because I thought they were timeless and interesting. I thought they would make good discussion, and good reading even though many of those people aren't here any more. Or don't post.

I just thought I'd restart some old writing based conversations. That's what people are always saying we need more of. Maybe I shouldn't have done so many at once. For that I appologize.

I thought the idea was the Archive Thread to be a sticky, inside which you can find the urls of interesting threads that could be buried beneath the dust. Not hauling those threads back to the front page themselves.

I was kind of flattered by the first one I saw though.
I am only human.

:D

You've got the Illustrators Hangout write?

It's always on the front page- except when I'm looking for it!

Well, yeah- you're right. I was just having a little fun that day. (and thought others might too) some did- some didn't. The posts that people liked stayed up top. the others- well they are out of the way again.

BUMP!

I'm going to do a lot more work on this again now. If anyone has any new suggestions, please post here or PM me.

Thanks!

Edit: I will as soon as the search function is working again. ;)
