PROM NIGHT EVERYONE"S DESTINY!
*Castles and Fireworks*

Going with the theme "Destiny Awaits" the Senior Prom welcomed the class of '07 with magic castles and techno dance tunes. Seniors responded by arriving in grand limos, dressed to the nines (see Selena's Fashion Page 9).

Miss Grushenka and Principal His Highness Og were on hand to keep things proper, but rumor has it that they both got out of hand themselves, especially Miss G. (see "The Rumor Mill" page 7).

Competition for Prom King and Queen was fierce, but in the end, the crowns were given to the wrestling Team's star player, Abs and our own Senior Class President, Vana. (more on page 2).

Afterwards, there was a surprise fireworks presentation by Zade & FallenfromGrace that lit up the night sky. The dance continued on long after that with rumors of a rogue Sophmore trying to spray paint the classrooms, punch spiked with a number of illegal substances, and hotel rooms around town trashed by not-so-sober prom attendees (see "The Rumor Mill" page 7).

Stragglers and Party animals reportedly keep the gym open and the music going till the class bell rang the next morning.

Great Prom, class of 2007! See you all at graduation...or out on bail

It's a malicious lie! I and the ladies in waiting retired to practise some waiting.

I don't sue for libel. I send the Royal Headsman supported by whatever force is required including an artillery train if my traducer has retreated to his/her castle.

They're cheaper than lawyers and more effective.

OOPS! The Paper makes a retraction, offers a profound apology, and will re-issue with an edit! (and what a fantastic fireworks display it was! Totally wonderful and unexpected!)

One glass eye, green-hazel with flecks of brown along the rim
One upper plate from a set of dentures
Several photographs including enlargements
One silver shoe, sticky and reeking of champagne
One glittery red shoe, severe damage to toe
A large giftwrapped box, contents unknown but quite noisy when shaken gently
Other items too numerous to mention here
