Ahh it is that time of year here. The steamy 95+ degree heat mixed with sea breezes from both coasts combining to soar humidity above 95%. Then the great giant cumulus clouds build and reach for the heavens. They gather and collect, darken and drops begin to fall. Really big cold rain drops, scattered so much you could almost dodge them. Then the breeze gathers itself into a wind and the temperature plumets. There is a quiet as the sky darkens, shadows dissolve. Rumble from distant lighting roars across the land. The little hairs stand at attention on the back of your neck. In an instant of blinding blue light with immediate ear shattering bang the rain pours on the ground. Sheets fall entertwined with flashes of light and claps of thunder. The lights flicker the ups beeps and whines. Afternoon thunderstorms in the lightning strike capital of the world.
Damn I wish the Mistress of the Rain were here to dance with me.
