Aftermath of a birthday party

A few weeks ago we had a nice birthday party for my wife (in real life that is). it was a very nice evening and in the end we and two other couples (good friends but nothing intimate) were left, sitting mixed up on two couches drinking some more.

We don't have any experience with swinging, 3somes or those things (at least i think the other couples dont have either ) but the situation keeps going through my mind as a possible story idea, ending in at least some public sex-acts right there and then. Doesnt have to be an all out orgy in the first chapter.

I would like the story to be real (no "So, wanna fuck?" and two senteces later he unloads his cum on her face and no forcing) so there should be a legit storyline which slowly opens up the people to some activities.

Does anyone have any pointers or idea's about a storyline for this idea?

It sounds like a nice story to take on. It may sound strange, but there is a almost an air of innocence about the situation.
Perhaps the couples have become friends over time, but there has always been that hint of tension between the spouses of the opposite partner, and it could be that tension which sparks the action.
The husband of one could hint to the wife of the other, and throw in just a hint of booze...
I see a dinner setting with the ladies dressed accordingly, a little too much wine and way too much flirting...

My idea was to keep the setting in de aftermath of the party. The couples are relaxing on the couch couples mixed (like on couch MFM and one FMF), already a bit tipsy. They are sitting and talking. I already had the conversation turned onto the things the gardener could have seen while working in the garden of a big house ("while working the lady of the house walks into the garden in her sher neglige" etc). But i get stuck trying to get from talking about these things into working towards doing things in the group.

Like i said i want it to be life-like, so it will probably go real slow and hesitant...

anymore suggestions would be welcome

Perhaps rather than you generating the action could you see one of the others doing it?
how about when the dialogue progresses a little, one of the ladies pushes things forward by confessing to something she did at school, college, work etc. Or maybe one of the couples hints at being involved in a little mild exhibitionism outdoors and how it led to lust. That could get the ball rolling a little.
The interaction between characters would be great. One partner being shy and embarrased while the other just goes a little too far in the telling of the story. You could really build up the tension.
Six people to keep track of in the sex will be a challenge!
I hope to read this one day.
