It was just a normal day for the passengers of Flight 515, on course from London to New York City. However, while out over the ocean, they experience severe turbulence, and are enveloped by a severe electrical storm that comes out of nowhere. They spin out of control and suddenly crash down over Queens, New York. There are three things wrong here.
1: They were still out over the ocean, and somehow made it to land in just a few minutes.
2: Despite a devastating crash that killed several people in the houses near the explosion, the passengers all survive without a scratch.
3: To the rest of the world, Flight 515 vanished nearly a month ago and just appeared out of thin air when a severe electrical storm developed over Queens.
If this wasn't weird enough, the passengers start to develop superpowers and begin having visions of a dark future. They all see the same events in their dreams, almost like a repressed memory that is trying to resurface. What they gradually discover is that the first electrical storm was someone tampering with a time machine in the future, who inadvertently pulled their plane through a rift. Something happened there to change the passengers into immortals, but for whatever reason, their memories were wiped and they were sent back, but they ended up hundreds of miles and over three weeks off from the original rift.
Once their memories return, they will inadvertently alter the timeline, which could have any number of effects on how the story unfolds.
