To the two people arguing....I think that its out of control. The very first post was merely expressing his disgust with racial stereotyping in pornography and it turned into aff. action, and nasty replies between two stubborn ass people. I am writing this post because I am a very big activist against pornography in some respects. I think there is a very big difference between PORN and EROTICA. PORN, i mean the very root of the word (it comes from Greece) means female sexual slave. Pornographic stories that demoralize and reinforce stereotypes should be abolished and burned. However, this is my own opinion. As long as these stories exist, you have the following responses:

White Woman: OOOOHhhhhh big black cocks are sooo forbidden. I become the whore and dirty slut if i am with a black guy....
Black Woman: I must be the most undesirable female on the planet
Latina Woman: Fuck.....
Asian Woman: We aren't all submissive
Other races: Why are we in the special category?

Why do we have these responses...? Because there is a psychological element to porn. For example, as long as the white woman is told to be afraid of the big bad black monster cock, she will flee from it until her subconscious curiosity makes her act upon the forbidden act. Making her feel as if she can validate the innocent blonde princess being violated by the black cock stereotype. It gives her power and makes her feel desirable. The black woman, who is shown either with an insatiable animalistic desire or a submissive low class ghetto whore, has to respond to society's regard for her as less than human. She either acts out these stereotypes because she is forced, or she hides into a self conscious shell that will never be broken. Latina women must fight to clear their names of the "spicy foreigner looking for a ticket into the US." Finally, Asian women are shown hanging from ropes and drinking cum from black and white men alike that want the so-called "submissive asian pussy". This is not true, and it perpetuates negative male attitudes toward respecting women and incites violence and rape. Sites like http://www.9thstreetlatinas.com and http://www.savagesonblondes are racist, degrading, and have no artistic/educational worth or merit.

All and all, let's abandon trying to fight about this issue with explosive passion. It is obvious that each side is set in their opinion. To the white girl janeygirl (i think): I think that your free use of the word nigger is a bit excessive. That sort of attitude only makes you look incompetent and trashy. To the other person, I think that you making valid and acceptable points. However, the way you are conveying them is only making this turn into a neverending argument....

Good Day!

first of all, what argue are you refering to? cause i cant really connect this to story feedback subject :)

accually pornography means "portray/describe/depict the woman as merchandise"

i don't like porn, but i can't really identify myself or anyone i know in the problem you describe more than pretty much everything in porn is fiction.

So does that mean guy on guy sex videos aren't pornography? It is in my book (which I'll admit, is poorly written and full of grammatical and logical errors).

I would suggest that it is the act of sex, not the woman, that is being merchandised in pornography. The historical context of the word is as you put it, but it has evolved over the years.

flawed_ethics, yes it would still count as porn.
but in heterosexual porn the point when bringing it up would be that the woman is portrayed as an object and the man as a subject. the mans pleasures and needs in focus, she is just a tool.
