Aetna CEO: Obamacare in 'Death Spiral'

Just keep paying those stock holders, and yourself, the big bucks.

That has nothing to do with the problem. You obviously have no idea what actuaries do, and why obamacare is an actuarial impossibility.

Adding to its swiftly swirling down the drain of statist history, it must be noted that - due to executive order - the IRS has now made "optional" whether a lemming who files 1040 needs to concern themselves with Line 61's mandate checkbox at all.

Of course, that's simply the Tool pulling another Obama above the law move in that only Congress can belittle the mandate aspect it legislated and which the sitting President at the time enacted.

Let's not forget, the last administration illegally post-poned the implementation of the mandate in order to bolster re-election chances in 2012. Just one of many times you directly violated his oath to faithfully execute the laws.

the fact that the last Administration did this previously in no way excuses the current administration following suit.

It would take 5 minutes to jot down this idea of excising the mandate in the form of a bill and should be passed by the Republican House and Senate, or they all need to be primaried. Most of them owe their seats to pledges to eliminate all of Obamacare.

Naturally, American socialists of all stripes will want all of the goodies "left." Medicaid expansion, subsidies, and prohibitions on insurance being actual insurance rather than a piggy bank to rob after you need it, having not contributed to it.

Hahahahahahaha.

Town halls WERE held. The ACA was an is wildly unpopular except fpr those poor enough to get it for free.

It was passed over the strenous objections of the electorate.

Why should Republicans listen to supporters of it when the Dems ignored near universal rejection? -rhetorical.

By the way, the Dems one hundred percent own this mess, but they will get away with blaming the Republicans on what will be the inevitable collapse regardless of what Republicans do. They've stuck Republicans with the tar baby yet again.

Just like the economic illiterate's idiotic analogy of the Republicans driving the car into the ditch. Carter's CREA, Clinton's doubling down, and hillariosly ironically, Dodd and Frank's stonewalling on oversight and Bush's feckless requests for an audit were why we had that bubble.

They will succeed in blaming Republicans for the pile of shit they left on the floor when America was stupid enough to hand the keys to the pool house to the irresponsible teenagers of politics.

Not only should Congress do away with the employer mandate; but, they should count health benefits to employees as taxable income to the employee. The goal being, to eliminate the employer based health care model. That system makes American companies noncompetitive in the global market when foreign companies don't have that financial burden.

Democrats have been kicking Republicans ass for years with propaganda, fake news, and blatant lies. They're experts at deception and damn good at it.

Is that why the Republicans off-shored all that to Russia this time around

While we all remember the truism that when Democrats get under the sheets to pull down the panties of the economy, it rarely has a happy ending. Remember by who's hand and how we came to be standing on the edge of this healthcare abyss.

I didn't see that first. Exactly right on the money.

Actually I blame confiscstory income tax rates that resulted in coupling our health insurance to our employment which was a bad idea with all of our current unintended consequences

Actually that wasn't the cause. Defense contractors began offering paid health ins. during WWII to attract higher quality employees, esp. women. I caught on to such an extent that every employer had to get on board to stay competitive. In no time at all it was just taken for granted.

JS is on the right track. Do away with the employer income tax deduction entirely. This would incentivize the employers to pass those monies on to the employee so they can still get the write down. Then allow the employee to take a write down on their income tax.

Allow for the formation of Co-Ops and cross state purchasing.

And hopefully, the Democrat temptation of a single payer system will die quickly in its crib without the necessity of an agonizing replay of the demise of Soviet-style medical care.

Not trying to be an ass here or start a pissing contest but do you have verifiable and demonstrative proof of your allegations or are you going by "leaks" that MSM are reporting?

What a stupid question. Of course I don't have verifiable and demonstrative proof as I don't have access to Russia's cyber warfare division's computers

I do listen to those that do have access to such intelligence, and without regard to party, they all agree that Russia meddled in the election.

They also agreed there is zero evidence they affected the outcome of the election. This is a phony narrative Democrats have invented to cover their incompetent election loss and to set the groundwork for undermining the Trump administration. The Democrat Senate slow walking of the Trump nominees is being done to allow Obama holdovers time to commit their treason and treachery to further their plan to destroy Trump.

CHANGE: IRS Guts Enforcement of Obamacare Individual Mandate.

Horseshit.

Trump has far more of his nominees confirmed then did Obama at this point in the administration.

So were the Senate Republicans slow-walking Obama's nominations?

Remember at least one of Obama's nominations couldn't even get a hearing FFS.

As for the hold-overs... oy vey! Ever heard of the Plum Book? 7,000 positions that the President gets to fill. On his own. Why hasn't he filled those positions with his people? If there are traitors in those positions now, isn't Trumps lack of action aiding and abetting said treason?

The first part of your post is nonsensical. Whether or not Russian actions influenced the election is irrelevant.

Don't try lying to me, You don't know what you're talking about. Obama had twelve cabinet officers confirmed in his first week. Trump has eleven as we speak almost a month later.
