Advice on my story

Hi everyone,

I am new - just registered with Literotica. Just have a few issues i seek advice on from seasoned authors...

1) First story is about a seasoned, skilled professional voyeur. What category do u think? I thought "Fetish", obviously, although the stories there are usually of a very different flavour (Yes, English spelling!)

2) I have trouble finishing stories. Do others have this problem? i have a story, or fantasy. i have the idea ready to go. Writing it is a joy until about 2/3rds trough, then i can't close it. I have about 50 incomplete stories.

Anyway, the voyeur story is coming! It is about 955 complete. I'll just wind it up in some ad hoc crappy way and put it up to get crucified!

It's very hard to get into the profession, because of the strict eyetest exam. Worse than airline pilots.

I had the problem but with lllllooooonnnnnggggg stories... I got bored 3 chapters in.

I basically 'trained' myself to LIKE finishing. What I did was artificially design an epic where each chapter was it's own complete and quasi-independent story.

As the chapters progressed, they got longer and longer but they still definitive beginning, plots of their own, and conclusion. Chapter 10 was 140 pages longs, which is ridiculous but hopefully you get the idea.

By the time, I finished the story I had been through the 'finishing' experience so many times I was over my fascination with NOT finishing.

I think you can do same... see if the 50 stories becoming 'incomplete' at the exact same movement, for instance do a majority of them stop after the sex.

If they do then design a few stories that end at that point... you know, the guy/girl rolls over and lights a cigarrette, THE END.

This will also help see what it is about 'ending' that puts you off... mine was simply I didn't know HOW TO FINISH anything at all.

Now finishing gives me wood ... cause I know the adulations of the fans is coming.

Actually I think the 'no-touching' is where most of the applicants failed... Lord, knows I've tried but they put a blonde little honey in front of me and I can't control my hands.

I've been told that my talents probably lie in the proffesional groper side of the industry.

Thanks for your replies.

Firstly, i am SOOOOO blind. A story about a voyeur?! I guess exhibitionism/voyeurism is the place.

Just to clarify - the professional voyeur SPENDS money. This would be on bugging equipment, cameras, concealment, amplifiers, electronic routers, computers, software etc.

About 2/3rds finished stories - thanks for the advice, but it doesn't help. I wrote another 4% of the voyeur story - taking me to 99.5. Now its really painful!
