Hi, this is going to sound probbably like an odd request, but oh well, here goes

i was wanting to know what the most "untame" stories are on lit in the catagories posted.

any advice or story suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Best way to get a handle on things is to read a few of each category's toplist.

Briefly, 'incest' requires all characters to be over 18 and no sexual abuse of any kind. On Lit it is really a fantasy, plot-lite world where Mom suddenly, and for no explained reason, has an unquenchable lust to see her son naked and screams, "Stick that great big cock in Mommy's pussy, son. You are so much bigger than your father." (Change sex as required). No hint of the darker side is really acceptable.

'Non-consent' is more serious - as on all the site, age limit applies - but rape is not acceptable generally. The best way I can describe it is that the category generally limits itself to the the popular view of women's fantasies. Violence and misogyny are not liked.

It's not the rules but the members preferences that really dictate. Guess you could call it 'middle of the road' erotic.

I'm not sure what you mean by "untame" but Lloyd is right as far as finding the most popular storeis.

On the other hand, if you mean "outrageous" that's a matter of taste. The most outrageous story I ever saw on Lit involved a woman kidnapped by a gang and raped by a horse. That was a few years ago and that writer and her stories were deleted and banned shortly after the story was posted.

You just have to read and find what you are looking for.

On a more serious note I'm curious to know what's on the "most definitely absolutely taboo" list as I thought this site was "anything goes" as long as the characters were over 18.

(I like my horror - pushing limits is part of the genre)

2. Beastality. Animals are out except, possibly in an alagorical story or a non-human story.

3. Snuff stories are out. Snuff means there is a murder and the killer receives some sexual gratification from the acton.

Beyond that, there are stories concerning rape and such that will be posted, but the readers will hate you for writing.

It is funny. After the site rules (as Jenny explained) there is a reader dislike of extreme violence - even in BDSM.

However, a browse through 'erotic horror' should enlighten you to some very imaginative storylines.

I do remember reading a rape and torture story about 3 years ago... It really appalled me, but seemed so realistic and well written, I subsequently made contact with the young woman who wrote it. I discovered that it was all true, and it was, in fact, a cathartic exercise she had engaged in to help release her demons.... such as the guilt and shame she felt for experiencing orgasms during the prolonged attack.

She was actually amused by some of the virulent comments she received from the trolls for it being too brutal and violent...

"Tell me about it" was her response.

I wonder if that story would pass muster today.

The site has always, for admirable reasons, steered clear of pedophilia and bestiality. Things get through sometimes although, in the end, the unacceptable stuff gets swept out.

That's why the Laurel & Manu site is a pretty good advert for free speech.

Censoring for free speech... kind of like fighting for peace....

Not complaining, but simply observing... And I am sure there used to be a "Taboo" story section which feature a lot of beastiaity.... but that is cool too. My dog could not never learn to operate the keyboard anyway....

Laurel and Manu have decided on a certain range of limits for this site. It is a range that appeals to the majority of authors on a loose 'moral' ground. No bestiality, no extreme violence, no characters under eighteen having sex.

It's sort of like the FCC. There are certain things you can't say on national TV. Well, there are certain things you can't describe on Lit.

Literotica is a cut above other erotic story sites...

I like it here and enjoy the challenge of writing and having stories approved for publishing on Lit.

Some sites are really vulgar and horrific. Something perverts of the lowest kind like--for example, 10-14 year old girls getting horny for uncle, father, brother, senior citizen neighbor.

Literotica isn't like that and the quality of stories is incredible.
