What does your S/O do that they think will turn you on but actually really, really turns you off? I realize most of the members here have a very strong sex drive but I know I feel totally clueless. I've tried every thing that every relationship book suggested with no result. Help please! Feel like I'm out of my mind here.

Nothing because I tell him when I don't enjoy something he's doing/done. I suspect that's also the case for the vast majority of people here, since most members seem to place a high value on communication and honesty.

How's your communication with your partner? Have you tried therapy, even alone if she won't go?

Do you truly believe knowing the turn offs of random women will improve your sex life with your spouse?

I don't have that problem so much anymore because he knows me and what turns me on so well. In the early days of our relationship though, we both had to let each other know what worked and what didn't. Some things might be uncomfortable to talk about, but communication is important.

I doubt my ex's thought they were turning me on, but I also doubt they understand how much of a turn-off it can be when they belch, fart, pick their nose, etc. I suppose they think we're not having sex at that moment, but the distaste carries over.
