The horrors of this past week have caused me to experience a myriad of emotions. I have also reappraised my relationships with others because it is crystal clear that nothing is forever.
Death has always helped me to put life in perspective. Those folks on those hijacked plane and all those folks at work at the WTC all expected their lives to go on, as usual. In the blink of an eye, all their lives were over. And the lives of ther loved ones were changed forever.
Imagine making a telephone call from the hijacked palne and saying goodbye, for the last time. Imagine seeing the plane that your loved one is on crash into the side of a building. Oh, the horror of it all!!!
And then there are the heros who acted unselfishly to save others. Many of the heros are dead, too. And we will mourn them and honor their memories.
This is a real wake up call for all of us, especially the U.S. Our counry has not been invaded since 1812. Foriegn terrorists were all some one else's problem, until a few days ago.
I say we kill our enemies with kindness!!!! Here's my plan: Since these Islamic murderers all want to enter paradise and have 72 vrgins serving them, I say that we give them all,the gift of death. Line up, now, guys for your trip to paradise.
